Hi Chris, the lever is to release the internal park brake from the auto gearbox if the engine is dead and the car needs to be towed. You cant put the auto gearbox in neutral if the engine isn't running, so even if you release the ebrake on rear axle, the gearbox internal park brake will still stop the car from moving. You pull the lever up to release the gearbox park brake and lock it down for normal use.

Does the V6 Premium have the breather with yellow cap on top of the diff? Most posts say to clean the breather vent while doing the oil change. Not sure if that only applies to the ‘S’ with LSD and the V8 with ediff. Thanks for the post.

hi, i have a 2016 jaguar f type base. and it says the error message “ battery low please start engine “ and i do and drive around for 30 minutes and it still says it after the drive is finished. i ended up taking the car to autozone to get the battery checked and he showed me that it says good battery and 100% charge. i’m confused on what to do some people told me to unplug the battery and wait 3 minutes then plug it back together and it will work but others told me to not do it because it will mess something with the computer? please help thank you.

Similar to yourself my Ftype R also currently has a dead batttery. My question is regarding how to open the trunk if I already connected my booster and missed the opportunity to open the trunk lid ? Are you able to repeat this procedure ? Per your demonstration, I now know that I need to run to the rear to hit the button. Thank you for your insights.

Best practice, investigate and take out the fill screw first… because in your case, you just took out your oil and if you have a problem, you have no way of getting oil in it. Than you can’t drive it.

A torque wrench is not a bolt torque measuring tool. The repair manual is $25 online. Respectfully.

You fused an LED strip to a 10A fuse! The LED's would take no more than 0.2A if the strip is what you showed. If that develops a fault the LEDs will hopefully blow and act as a fuse themselves and not result in catching fire. Just saying.

Hey one of the best speed mods I ‘ve found is an Antigravity racing battery. I ripped out the start/stop battery and bracket (no issues besides losing the feature) for 12 lbs saved. The Antigravity ATX-20-HD weighs just 6 lbs and replaces the enormous 66 lb battery I installed when my OEM battery faded years ago. All told, it saved 72lbs! The LiFe chemistry holds a higher charge voltage, too, typically 13.2V when cranking, and stays higher when the car is running which keeps the F-Type from freaking out if the system voltage dips. If that hasn’t happened to you yet, it probably will. The car throws around 10 faults and won’t restart - but all it needs a solid battery charge. Thats bcs AGM batteries are 12.8V and are tricky to top-off, so they get depleted from short trips and suck on the system voltage til the F-Type revolts. Problem solved. Might make a good video. You will also need a set of 2 gauge, 24” battery cables with 5/16th terminal holes on both ends. You can use those as a direct replacement for the OEM cables with their larger battery terminals. Seems like a 10 min job but it takes more like 2 hours bcs the optional start/stop batt removal takes some time to dig out. You also need to put some foam board slats or equivalent under the tiny new battery until it contacts the existing metal tie down clamp.

Nice video. I added a similar thing to my 2014, which otherwise has no backup cam. I used an Amazon rearview mirror that lays on top of your existing RVM. I wired it similarly, from the center console USB under the console trim to the dash, under the dash to the door seal, under the door seals to the top of the A pillar, under the top of the windshield trim to the RVM. The rear camera was easy to run under the convertible trim, under the lift-out bottom trunk liner, and mount to the top side of the rear license plate. There is another wire you can drop to the reverse light to trigger it on when in reverse, but I want it recording all the time. Theres a button on the mirror to turn the display on/off and it still records. When off, the mirror display still reflects. It also has a forward facing dash cam that shoots around the side of the RVM, so you get almost 360 coverage in a continuous loop recording. With a 128GB microSD the loop lasts for weeks.

Update 9/14/2022: Still running smooth and no sign of problems with the Royal Purple. I believe this substitute is at the very least good enough to hand daily work commute and occasion hard acceleration.

I did also want to add that the air box bottom has a screw inside that you can remove and part of the air elbow pice comes out. I thought it was clean and found some leaves and junk wedged under it. Ao worth an extra minute to remove that and clean under it. Thanks.

Well my experience was mixed. I bought him from a seady pet store in San Antonio. He looked miserable and malnourished. My heartstrings were pulled and i got him for $20. He seemed tame at first but i soon discovered that he would just randomly bite and latch on. I tried blowing at him and he would just tighten his grip. At one point he drew blood and i had to use a mealworm to get him off. I think he was neglected at the pet store and possibly mistreated. I gave him away when j moved to Kwajalein Atoll as they don't allow pets.

Mealworms as treats, no more than 1 a day because they will get fat. As far as the regular food, it was a mixed blend sold at the local Petsmart. It has a base kibble but includes dried banana pieces. I haven't had my hedgehog in a long time, had to give him away when I took a job that moved me to a place that doesn't allow pets.

I think their brains are so simple that when they get one type of stimuli they dont focus on anything else. When Nibbles is eating he lets you pet him, make noise and do whatever as long as he keeps eating. SOon as he runs out of food he wants to be left alone and will nipp at fingers if you bother him. Sort of an ungreatful pet. He goes nuts for the worms though. He smells them as soon as you open the container and he comes running out of his nest and gobbles them up.

@breeziblue also, if you get one, put a worn sweaty shirt in their cage wherever they sleep, that'll help em get used to your scent

@breeziblue mine was tame as soon as i got it but i think it can be up to q month?

@Buschchris1 Whenever you get a hedgehog, if he was mistreated or not played with enough with the last owner, they'll be like that. If you still try to hold him enough, he'll get used to you and will probably want you to hold him, and he won't bite (unless your hands smell VERY good.) :)
