Super! thanks for the tips, until recently I hadn't realized that Mario updated his favorite way to tackle ED and it's a relief! Although what he previously suggested was pretty good, it was a real pain to follow... I just go'ogled Mario Volpstein , it's so much simpler and potent now!
Hi, this was three years ago, have any progress been made in treating enthesitis as a pre-dominant symptom in Psoa? Best Regards Mikael

Hello doctor. I am a patient of Still's disease. Can you give me some suggestions on medications to maintain and limit Still's disease at home? I will refer to them and include them in my treatment regimen. Thank you.❤
Thank you from Florida, good to know.
Spondies aren’t more likely to get in accidents I think if they are in an accident it might exacerbate the injuries of a spondy more than the average person. Don’t misinterpret that data.
Pain is real. My current rheumatologist does not discuss it much. No solutions are recommended. I have a lot of joint damage that was done before I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and that existing pain needs to be addressed. Pain won’t be addressed by primary care. You doctors need to address it. Opioids and tramadol do work especially if you can’t take steroids on top of your biologic or dmard long term. We as patients need quality of life not just quantity.
You are so wonderful to listen to. So fair, measured, thoughtful in your word choice and content and delivery! As an internist recently diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis, i am devouring your content and enjoying it immensely, so thankful for the rheum expertise and new meds that are available, if my insurance approves after the obligatory 12 week methotrexate course! Keeping my 🤞 , to have a good outcome .

Medicare will not pay for HRT in older women. It will pay for female hormones for trans women. It might pay for testosterone for old women living as men but there aren't any.

Used Tofacitnib for about 2 yrs for scalp psoriasis, kidney performance dropped from 90 eGFR to about 55, my nephrologist did Kidney biopsy and was 100% sure the damage was due to this drug. He had me discontinue it and kidney performance jumped back to 90 eGFR in about 6 months. It was a drug induced kidney injury, unfortunately no doctor talks about this. Anyone on this drug should monitor kidney functions very closely.

Thank you, although what I've experienced & what I've learnt from you here today, i am in for a great deal of pain. I found out years ago .maybe some time around 2009 that the swelling i was experiencing intermittently in my fingers sometimes the pain effected me right down from my thumb into my wrist and it also will swell i found ouat from a Rhumatologist it was called Palindromic arthritis he was a nice man the 1st visit the 2nd he wanted nothing to do with me told me to go away asked why diqd you come here i was a bit slow i didnt know every doctor i seen was threatened a d couldnt actually help me so ive lived with this knowing nothing other than what its called being treated with steroid to take the swelling down didnt do much to help my depression anxiety or my hiatus hernia as it turns out another of the medical conditions i am denied help for the Beauty of a Network hey . So there i was a single mum 3 teenage children my income the only income keeping a roof over our heads being denied help my hands that swelled, the Hiatus hernia that caused no end of stomache issues the cotton wadding stuck in my sinus that caused this apparent Black listing and the migraines brainfog and host of other sinus related issues and there i was trying to support us and work in community care helping those the doctors Network here in Australia didnt blacklist
Wow you are amazing! Exactly the data I required to make informed medication choices with the Rheumatologist. Thank you!

I'm 52 yrs old, got diagnosed last month. I'm on 10 mg only helps on inflammation for 15 hours approximately. I have trouble bathing and simply doing laundry my body gets so tired and tight. I used to work at a warehouse, I just thought I was out of shape and have trouble breathing. Headaches are bad and parts of my face get numb. Stiff from neck down to my shoulders. When I walk my hip is painful, I sometimes walk long walks like an ewok.
I was there. Doubled the dose to every 12 hours and made a world of difference. I was losing 4 hours every morning.

I am an adult with JIA I had no uveitis as a child , but unfortunately at age 22 I had uveitis which has been ongoing. I am now 46 and have lost vision and ongoing uveitis issues. I feel it's wrong not to think it will never happen. I've only just been told I have limb length discrepancies after 20 yrs of moaning about issues.

biologic DMARDS and RA assoc MACE also provides increased fodder re the question of role of Inflammation in atherosclerotic heart disease. As you may note, even colchicine is beginning to be used and not just for pericarditis.
