I wish my tap water was less biodiverse. It smells mouldy. I would prefer Cork city council gave me clean tap water. Hold the E Coli please. If it is not clean come the next election, I will vote for the far right.

Why does the tap water in Tivoli smell mouldy and why does it taste metalic? Surely with all the rainfall you can give us fresh water. It`s like it was stored in some rusty old tank for a long time. Gimme fresh water or I`ll vote for the independents.

This was excellent! “…the RIC did most of the dying.” Love that this is told in the first person. My Grandfather was RIC from 1912 before he went to war in 1915. Returned to RIC in 1920 (Colooney Barracks, Co. Sligo) and then to RUC on disbandment. His father was also RIC in Kerry/Clare up to the 1890s. One of my grand uncles was in a flying column post war after serving in France.
