Part 2 of my bike ride through Ellwood Bluffs to the Pacific Ocean.

Rode my mountain bike over the Devereaux Slough crossing to the bike trail along Ellwood Bluffs. No one around except some occasional joggers. It was 76 and sunny so why not a Pacific coast bike ride in Goleta?

Riding my mountain bike on Cabrillo Blvd. to Hot Springs Road roundabout in Montecito. No movie stars but lots of traffic. A kind motorist allowed me to get through the congested Hot Springs/Coast Village Road roundabout. Crazy intersection for bicyclists and motorists to navigate.

Cycling down State Street from Joe's Cafe past Stearns Wharf to Cabrillo Boulevard on a cloudy day.

Going downhill on old San Marcos Road. Some guy in a truck got impatient and passed me near the bottom of the pass

It was hot so I rode my bike from my house to Haskell's Beach in Goleta. Only one mile each way so it was not a long or challenging ride.

Time to go home.

I am glad few people come to this beach that never ends.

A beautiful June day in Goleta/Santa Barbara Caifornia.

This underpass under the 101 freeway in Goleta is usually semi bone dry. Not after 10 straight days of rain.

Cycling on Hollister Avenue through the Ellwood Beach area towards Sandpiper Golf Course in Goleta can be haardous to your health as cars race by and sometimes honk at you for now reason. The last 1.5 miles to my house can be an adventure at times.
