The reason I didn't record the gameplay footage from the Grand Prixs for yesterday, 2024-10-01, was because my computer was crashing and rebooting when I was trying to load up my preferred operating system, Manjaro, so I was booted up and racing in Windows, which was stable. Although my system is fully supported by Manjaro, it and other flavors of Linux tend to use CPU power states differently from Windows. It turns out that it's a known issue that AMD Ryzen CPUs might become unstable and reboot or crash if they're put in certain power states under certain conditions. I found a solution which is working so far, and that is to add this to the kernel command line parameters: `processor.max_cstate=1 idle=poll amd_pstate=disable`. These parameters basically set my CPU to operate continuously in high-performance mode, thus avoiding the power states that can cause a system crash. Special thanks to Perplexity AI for helping me find and fix the issue.

I feel like i miss these every time. When do the GP's start?

Someone selected Gravity Track and there weren't enough start positions for the racers, so the server gave up and quit. In other words, the Grand Prix got busted. Also, the last race was busted, so there was that, too.

Someone started the races too soon and the teams weren't set up, so...it's a bonus race :-p
