I was in a band in 1982-1983 that introduced me to their first two albums. Their musical arrangements are so catchy that I can remember them after not hearing for 30+ years! It's too bad Coelocanth wasn't released when it was new and that they didn't have mainstream success like The Cars.

This already sounds so much better than "Run for your life". I'm glad it just wasn't Tim Smith, but more likely the production on the former album. This sounds more like the Producers. Thanks for sharing!

So in 1986 I was hangin' out with the drummer from the Killer Dwarfs, trying to learn some drum chops and he throws this Adam Bomb tape in my car player, at the time, the Dwarfs were recording Stand Tall. I heard the recording of Keep that Spirit Alive off that record before it was released. Good memories.

Love this song, have not heard it since high school so many years ago. KMET 94.7 in Los Angeles had this one on their play list. Best radio station ever, died on Valentines Day 1987. I will always remember this as l was a Marine Corps CH-46 Helicopter Crewchief and on that day l flew back to MCAS Tustin from Yuma Arizona. Got back in time to hear the last song played by KMET. It was "Every Breath You Take" by The Police. Then it turned into "The Wave".

The very first band to perform at the very first Monsters of Rock Festival in 1980. The rest of the bill was Riot, Saxon, April Wine, the Scorpions and Rainbow. I've a feeling Judas Priest were also there.

Peter wolf is so underrated as a true vocalist known for his wild antics this is one of his most heartfelt vocal performances and for a party band this is one of their true gems

I think this is the most FUN Beach Boys album--and they were obviously having a lot of fun in 1965 with all the girls in New York City, California, and Salt Lake City

The Conte brothers can both rock. Give a listen to Steve Conte NYC - Dark in the Spotlight is GREAT.

Boy, It always comes down to the writing doesn't it....So many great singers/players that just can't write good/memorable songs. The record business is littered with them. Just like this guy. Great band, great singer, great player....but then we get to the writing and it all fell apart.
