"All the difficulties are easily bypassed". Except for that unavoidable catwalk. Oh yes, and in the case of the crux up there, the route involves following a narrow ledge on the side of a vertical cliff, then ascending a vertical wall. Those wishing to bypass this difficulty can follow the ledge for a bit then take advantage of gravity by plummeting to their death.

What's not to like? Nothing if you're watching it on UA-cam. But if you're doing it yourself, well, there's a long list of things - like gravity, vertigo, dew, wet moss, exhaustion, sunburn, blisters, snake bites and the lack of a decent tunnel linking Nefyn to the 21st century, forcing you to ascend some of the world's steepest hills!

What shoes do you use ? Nerves of steel as well.

There seems to be very little information available about this scramble, or at least there wasn't when I was climbing! My old mountaineering club used to do it every year back in the day. An enjoyable video :)
