For anyone wondering,Jiub does appear in oblivion but as a corpse since he was in kvatch when first gate was open. The only reason he is dead is because his soul got suck up in a soul gem by a daedra.

some times i feel sad i didn't get into a game franchise in its early days to get that special moment of meeting an important character for the first time. then again i keep forgetting the names of half of skyrim and i have hundreds of hours in that game.

I don't know why it took me this long to learn Skyrim is 200 years after Oblivion

You forgot Staada in Skyrim! 😢 I’m 170 hrs in so far and came across her through a mission. I can even summon her as an archer now as well. This vid was great though. I really need to play all the games. I’m playing ESO and Skyrim. But hear only great things about the others.

Seeing the amount of characters from Morrowind to Skyrim, that and thematically as well (Nerevarine and DB being god blessed heroes, both final DLC's being set on Sosltheim, occupied by Skyrim by the events of Morrowind, later Morrowind by events of Skyrim), makes me realize there's deeper connection with those two than Oblivion-Skyrim

My theory on why Uriel Septim looks so different is that after being freed from his imprisonment in Oblivion the experience changed him jot just by afflicting him with prophetic dreams but also caused him to go bald in Daggerfall. By Oblivion and mentioned in Morrowind, his sickness worsened and his skin grew pale, though his hair slowly grew back, although he never got his beard again

You can also consider Skyrim's Sheogorath to be the Hero of Kvatch from Oblivion with the mantle of Mad God, and given he mentions elements from the Thieve's Guild and Dark Brotherhood Questline that would technically still make him a high ranking member or atleast a historrical one in the Cyrodiil area. I also like the idea of his own statue, as well as that of Martin either as himself or Akatosh's avatar being erected in the Shivering Isles out of grief, and also had his old crew he purged fro the sanctuary be brought back as his own personal hit group

Funny enough, even though Barbas is Creeper the Scamp Merchant in Morrowind, there is also a Scamp Merchant named Creeper in ESO. But then again "Creeper" isn't a massively unique name for a pet.
