You don't start at the top you start at the bottom and work your way up that prevents streaking

It barely does anything diluted as per manufacturer instructions. I tested a spot full strength, it gave the results we are looking for but be careful. PPE - safety goggles rubber gloves and coveralls (if you wear this stuff you will be more likely to get in there and do a good job instead of being skiddish), don't use on a hot sunny day, use a pump sprayer starting at the bottom moving up, soft or medium bristle brush mostly to spread out evenly, 4' sections don't try and get the whole thing done at once, rinse like you've never rinsed before, let dry to see results and re apply another day if needed.

As an aluminum polisher, make sure it is diluted down(should have instructions on label), and really any brand of aluminum brightener works about the same. Where rubber gloves since it's basically acid. Do not let it sit too long as it may burn the aluminum. If you are going to get your pontoon polished, do not use it until you talk with the polisher.

Sir, you need to watch this video. Your video shows what not to do! Also, you are right up on it taking those harmful fumes right into your lungs. ****warning don't do this at home******ua-cam.com/video/MESqMYh5bm8/v-deo.html

It does clean them but after a day or two of sunlight they turn very dull . They still need polishing after this step .

Muriatic Acid. People: PUT A MASK ON! Yes the stuff works amazing with aluminum. Also works harmful wonders for your skin, lungs, grass, and boat trailer boards 😉. This is how you raise dumb kids that eventually participate in the gene pool

ok everyone, he is using Purple Power Aluminum Brightener, NOT Purple Power Degreaser--2 different products. degreaser is about $4/gal and the Aluminum Brightener is $22/gal. the degreaser also specifically warns not to use on aluminum (wheels).

Thanks for the demo. I would have used a brush to at least even out the product as it worked. I'll be picking up some. I've found that the regular Purple Power chokes me up a bit when I use it also. It's definitely caustic.

Hey Gregory - I am about to order the "Purple Power Aluminum Cleaner and Degreaser". I'm trying this one because it does not contain acid. Did you have a chance to use your Purple Power product yet? I am about to give my new pontoon boat her first cleaning and would like to hear your experience with this product (Cleaner or Brightener). Thanks!!
