@@VaderVlogs125 you talking about the carb? No it isn’t, I got that manifold to face forward because if I didn’t then it won’t have clearance facing backwards
I've had a black 2012 for just over a year now, got 23000 miles on it. Is it a problem that i haven't checked the fuel filter yet? The bike lives in Australia and has only ever had ron 91 from Shell, Ampol, BP etc.
@@danielstorey3696 I would suggest you replacing the filter the next time you replace the oil, I’m sure the bike is fine but it’s better to replace it
@JamesOnWheels OK, thank you 👍
@@danielstorey3696 I’ve always wanted to visit Australia it would be cool to meet subscribers
did you ever notice noise from the chain being super lose? mine has made an irritating noise since i got it.
Nice review bro my buddy has a 2013 I have a 2024 ninja 500 he’s wanting to sell it after he pays it off next summer my plan was to pay off my bike by February or January and then go get a new zx6r but man I’m torn between getting a new ninja 600 or buying his Honda.
Honestly you can’t go wrong with both, they’re both fast trust me, so I rode the 2016 zx6r and the Honda definitely makes more power down low, it feels better with low to mid power, can’t go wrong with both, I feel like you need to go with appearance since they both have more than enough power
When I first saw my bike, Boom Vader 125cc too, I knew it was going to be fun. These bikes scream fun riding full throttle.
I recently made a trip to Hawaii and it makes me want to get one for the islands haha
Which is the first yellow?

Hey does anyone have any idea how I can get fairings for this bike model?
@@yuilssavel380 I assume the fairings are the same for the original Grom model, it might not be the exact figment but marketplace also has parts if you get lucky or try eBay as well
Damn that's nice I would add some foot pegs with a foot shifter
@@baldemarramirez956 thank you!!, I feel like, if I weld a foot peg, it will ruin the look of the trike, but as far as the shifter I welded a lug nut wrench for my shifter because I wanted to shift like a manual car

Do you have a link to where you bought the bolts?

@JamesOnWheels nvm don't waste your time brotha I do appreciate the reply though. I was talking about the engine bolts, but I just took one off and going to the hardware store to get better grade bolts.

How much total would you have to spend on mods to have this thing good to go?
@@dallascowboys9430probably like 100-150 in mods not very expensive the rest would just be cosmetic, but all you really need is a sprocket, carb and engine bolts upgrade, your probably looking at 70-80 bucks just for those 3 to make it reliable
Had to drop a like just for the intro!!!!! 🔥
@@andrehughes8882 thank you bro I appreciate you
Did you buy an adapter or just flip the original one?
@@SUBZX6R if your talking about the manifold, I had a 26mm manifold already on there from when I installed my mikuni clone carb, so I just used that, but you would need to get an adapter if you want to install a nibbi carb

26mm? Are you talking about the carb or sprocket?
@@JamesOnWheels the carburetor... That was the first thing that you brought up in the video

Great video, been wanting a Honda Grom for a while now but too expensive. I started looking for other options and found the vador boom is the best for the $$, for half the price of a Grom I can use the rest of the $$ for upgrades and make it look cool. Right now I ride a kayo td125cc, small bike but fun to ride around in the city. From Washington too I'm glad this video popped up on my suggestion I didn't now these bikes were this capable, with two humans and fast, possibly more upgrades for riding faster too maybe!
@@insomniasick they’re definitely capable, just do some minor mods, my Grom can keep up with a 2024 Grom,
Great video. Do you think this is the best grom clone or would you recommend another brand. Thank you
@@charlesrupe3001 cosmetic wise I like this one, most of the other clones just have one solid color but mine came with gold forks and red stitching seats and a engine that doesn’t require you to plug emissions thing
@@JamesOnWheels awesome

@@gucciiniko yeah of course thank you for watching

How is the suspension compared to the grom. Is the seat comfortable.
@@charlesrupe3001 the suspension feels good, the seat is comfortable, but after an hour or more than the seat start to feel stiff, it feels just like the 2020 model Grom, because it has that hump on the seat, the 2021 and up models of the Grom has better seats because it’s flat, it doesn’t have that hump

I am really wanting one of these and installing a Daytona 210cc and changing out the breaks and break n clutch levers , all bearings and new axle bolts for the rims , pretty much take all China trash take it all apart and go over all welding and touch up any bunk spots by rewelding sand and repaint and also weld on some extra parts so the bike does not vibrate . I pretty much added up every mod I need and it came out to $4350 bucks for a fully custom boom vader that will cost me $1095 bucks cheaper than a stock Honda grom that cost $5350 bucks out the door which is slow AF and I would still want to modify it just like all other grom owners do but the difference is if I wanted to do the same mods on the grom the price would come out to $11,299bucks 🤦🏻♂️😡😤 hell no I’m not paying double for a name brand when I can build a faster nicer looking and more dependable bike for half the price with way better performance after I’ve replaced and tuned the vader, it’s a no brainer. @@SpACeCruizeR2o3 I haven’t tried the 24mm, what’s the difference in powrr
Good video. My nibbi carb is getting installed today. I was debating between the 24 and the 22, but the 22 makes more sense, and from what I understand, it's easier to tune. You are definitely right. You don't need a bigger carburetor to make enough power.
@@j-rollz yeah I definitely noticed more response out of the 22mm I haven’t tested the 24mm but I can definitely say that a 26mm mikuni clone vs a 22mm nibbi, the nibbi outperforms the 26mm
@JamesOnWheels Did you have to re-jet on either bike, or was it just adjustments?
@@j-rollz on the clone I went 40 pilot and stock main
First love the video! But caught something the might have been missed, the plastic isolator, between intake and carb, it started out with an o-ring, then the o-ring was missing resulting in it being placed in backwards. The o-ring on the carb should have been against the flat side of the plastic isolator, and then the "missing' o-ring on the isolator against the intake pipe. Am I missing something? BTW, do some speed runs with new nibbi, we'll love it!!!!
@@CageFreeTom yeah I thought the same thing too when I was putting it on, it didn’t sit flush with 2 o rings, is it supposed to be 2 o rings? Cuz it doesn’t leak air with just the 1 o ring in place
@@JamesOnWheels No air leak is good, first. But later in the video I see you flipping the black plastic piece with NO o-ring, unlike at start of video. If it's not broke, no need to fix. But if an airleak develops, first place I would look and just put in a new o-ring later. Love the vid!
@@CageFreeTom i ended up putting the o ring that goes on the intake side after you told me

@JamesOnWheels I have the same bike as you, the boss motor vader special edition. The thing won't stay on when I put it in gear so I'm going to over haul it completely all at once. Did you have this issue? I think I may have a kinked fuel line, I'm going to go through the whole bike and find out.
