Ensemble Fantasticus plays the sonata a 2 in a minor BuxWV 272. Rie Kimura, baroque violin - Robert Smith, viola da gamba - Guillermo Brachetta, harpsichord.
Marvelous!
Bravo pour cette interprétation de toute beauté ! Buxtehude est dans cette sonate en trio aussi grand que JS. Bach.
Virtuosos todos, una sublime interpretación de esta joya de Buxtehude. Gracias por el regalo.
Buxtehude did not travel far or very much at all but his music and reputation as a skilled organist did. He wrote cantatas that were a prelude to Bach in this field and the latter composer went out of his way to hear him play though they probably never met because he was so in awe of him.
Bravissimi!!!
this sounds crazy but sometimes I listen to buxtehude as a kind of relief from Bach
❤❤❤
Best Version ever
Stunning...
Maravilla !!
Sehr schön
Just wonderful performance! Thank you!
Покорнейше Вам благодарю! Умнички!
Wonderful music and sensitive performance
Not to diminish the the violin and viola da gamba parts but the harpsichord playing is quite exquisite. The acoustics in this church are amazing too.
Magnificent performance!
Fantastic sound, fantastic images. Great production!
Très heureux de trouver cette pièce de Buxtehude avec une si belle interprètation ! Bravo
Buxtehude truly is a precursor considering his chamber music anticipates the italian masters like Corelli much later.
Wonderful
Brilliant.
Quels talents

Wow, the sound of that violin!
Thank you ❤️
This is an excellent interpretation and recording Guillermo, many thanks for sharing. I thoroughly enjoy listening to this over and over :-)
A fantastic performance of a wonderful piece! Bravo. side note - did anyone else notice the interesting chord right at 4:36? The violinist plays a 7th - B& A, whereas the music actually has a fifth, D&A (which makes more sense over the f# in the bass, leading to the G minor chord.)

Never knew Buxtehude made music like this and could sound like this! Impressive!
I once heard a very eminent musicologist say that if Buxtehude hadn't existed Bach as we know and revere him wouldn't have existed either. This glorious performance certainly bears that out.
Bach walked 25 miles to meet this man. That ought to tell you something.
Wonderful Group, excellent interpretation of Buxtehude! Back was a fan of this man, which tells us, in which Buxtehude belongs!
There is no better pace for this song, these artists do it the best they can
I haven't heard better performance, is Buxtehude better than Bach? I think so.
One of my favorite works by Buxtehude. The guy was prolific. Even JS Bach idolized this guy.
Quelle merveille!
@ 6.50 and further, if Rie Kimura can play this well then she surely could play the whole rosary sonata's by H.I.F von Biber, Guillermo would be super great to play the continuo.... "breakfast with Biber" It would be great to hear you play that !! 2 Hours+ sheer delight.
So beautiful understanding (feeling) of this music...
Excellent! En prime, Rie K. est très belle...
Wonderful playing. Wonderful recording. Wonderful Buxtehude! 👍 ❤️
Great music. - made all the better with good acoustics, and no vibrato.
Herzliches Dank
C'est "fantastique"; quelle merveille!
