For the people, who watch this and know second to none about Rommel, I'll point out two mistakes in the video: 1. Although he was truly respected among his soldiers, enemy soldiers and enemy generals, most of the german generals despised him because he was a favourite of Hitler. 2. In late 1943 he was aware of how delusional Hitler was getting (also sometimes disobeyed his orders), but there is no proof that he knew about the assasination plan, let alone supporting it.
The desert fox was a great general I admire him
Guess what hes famous for inventing😂
If Germany didn't Attack Russia in June 1941, they would have send Gen. Rommel 12 Divisions ( 9 Infantry, 3 Panzer, 1 Mechanized and 1 Light). Thats 350 000 men. Plus 1250 Warplays. With that Army, he would have taken Eygept and the Middle East.
American icon and role model for young men
Who cares? We all know who he's talking about. Knitpickers

Guy was pure nazi and what he did was for him to get filthy rich Stop spreading misinformation
Whether his intentions were to get rich or not he still saved lives.
He was a member of the na- party and made a lot of money during the war.
Money he made, which he used for paying bribes to keep his labor force together. His factory also deliberately provided inferior equipment to the army. He died a pauper.
Thats not his real picture, he looks like Lian Neason in real life
Thats cause the picture is from a movie, the other ones tho are real
Goofy ahj photos
Yes it’s at Albro lake rdcand Pinecrest. The other part is in North west Arm. My grandfather was on that navy ship in the video. HMCS Niobe. My other grandparents dishes shook 75 kms away in Mushaboom.
What's the glide ratio of this plane ?

Magnificent performance by the pilots under immense pressure. And this is a true story, both the refueler and the pilot made a terrible misjudgement.
BS!
not
I think that fast fall of Belgium and France was the reason why Germany had so many resources, manpower. This made war much longer
I live in that city apparently an anchor flew a km
It was "not" a bold plan. Rather, it proved to be a 'dumb-asse impulsive' plan politically appease Monty and English-Elites... Notice, never heard from either (Mony and British Elitist) on after Market Garden's failure. The literally fellow it's Asse with Poor Leadership!
I am not sure if this is correct or not, but isn't the move, "A Bridge Too Far" from the 1970's about this very plan?
@@titanoboa7165 yes
Yes
The Americans were late . Again.
History 101... Before the Green Berets, before Seals, even before the Airborne Rangers.....there were these men.
Folly or not, these were incredibly brave men who showed immense courage. Yes, they failed In their optimistic mission, but they wrote their glorious names into eternal legend. God rest their immortal souls.
Montgomery's folly!
the back up must have been the French they are famous for no show during war
It was an allied armor column (mainly British and American) that was delayed due to one or more vital bridges being successfully demolished by the Germans before elements of the U.S. 101st and 82nd airborne divisions could secure them. Wasn't the fault of the French.
