The one week I don't check my notifications... I love Single Point Postulate and yet I'm always late to the new drops. As for the track, you've done it again. Drums at the end kinda make this feel like some track for an origin story cutscene or something, fitting for the track used in the first level in the game IIRC.

Honestly, I was never really a fan of the original but this version is great! I like how the track starts out with simplistic drums and weird sounds, really encapsulates how the mutated humans have devolved completely to savage, small-brained animals... so simple, savage sounding music fits the theme well. And, god when the main part kicks in, that's perfection right there.

The subtle geiger counter sound at the start is such a tasteful touch. You captured the 'factory' feel of the OG track very well here.

this has to be one of my favourite tracks from the original game and lord, man, you KILLED it with this cover! 1:57 to 2:30 was always my favourite part, always liked the tribal 'dance around the fire' sound to it, and man you really did that justice.

Этот уровень был одним из главных разочарований для меня в ремейке. Если в оригинале каждый раз когда я туда заходил я был на нервах и пытался каждый раз как можно быстрее через него пройти, то в ремейке с каменным лицом проходил. Собственно в ремейке саундтрек на этом уровне скорее загадочный, но никак не клаустрофобный и напрягающий как оригинал. Хорошо, что есть человек который чувствует оригинал, и самое главное, не перебарщивает и не добавляет отсебятины. Это дорогого стоит. (Разве что ремейк интро ну прям эпик метал кавер, но первый блин комом как говорится). Так или иначе, с Новым Годом! Пусть алгоритмы наконец доберутся до тебя и принесут аудиторию! А то мне даже как то стыдно что кроме самого себя, у меня только один знакомый что проходил Систем шок, Деус Экс и Хейло и который слушает электронщину. Скидывать видосы больше некому 😅.

For half a minute I felt like this was a prank before hitting play xD; but honestly it speaks volumes about how subtle the original soundtrack can be at times! This version in my opinion amps up the already mildly terrifying nature of the Maintenance level, making it feel as though it's something out of the original Alien. Really well done!

Наконец-то, дождались. Весь (если не считать мелкие треки лифта, смерти и т.д.) ОСТ первого шока сделан. Теперь я могу закинуть их вместо скучнейшего эмбиента ремейка и наслаждаться процессом (да они не будут реагировать на ситуацию как в оригинале и ремейке, но даже так в разы лучше будет саундтрека из ремейка)
