It’s hard work and a career. Take it seriously. If you’ve bounced around from job to job and don’t have any motivation, this isn’t the career for you. If you can’t work long hours, this isn’t the career for you. If you’re afraid of heights (60ft in the air at times, maybe higher) this isn’t the career for you. A lot of this pipe is very heavy, and so are a lot of the components that go into a system, If you don’t like heavy lifting, this isn’t the career for you. If you aren’t mechanically inclined, this isn’t the career for you. If you can’t take school seriously and procrastinate, this isn’t the career for you. If you don’t want to be 2, 3, 4+ hours away from home for a week at a time, only to return on the weekends, this isn’t the career for you. But if you can meet that criteria, go to the Local 669 website and check it out. Foreman in this trade bring home over 130,000K+ per year. Best of luck.
