Aladdin (1992) was released on VHS and Laserdisc 2 years later and had another legendary hero, Aladdin, who steals from the rich and gave to the poor people of Agrabah, thus winning the heart of Princess Jasmine but Jafar and his minion, Iago, had other plans for him. I own a copy of it on VHS but not on DVD or Laserdisc. Best known for its song, A Whole New World (Aladdin’s Theme).

I’m so glad that Siskel and Ebert gave this film a two thumbs up! They can be quite strict when comes to movies, but they weren’t strict with this one. It’s impossible not to fall in love with this classic.

How come there's a Walt Disney Classics logo? If this was released, it wouldn't be in the Walt Disney Classics line as this film's mostly live action.
