He was a great teacher of inking he gave us a stack of Artwork for the 1964 New York Conicon. Still have Splash page of Vikings Prince from the Con. He found time to teach to lucky people.Even met the Surgery Kids in his office.

Great collection. Love the idea of collecting high grade books, but keeping the collection small. I’m all but done chasing books. I realized the same thing you did. I was always “buy buy buy!!!!” Everything I could. It git ti be too much. Now I just have a very small collection of very important books. Great video and nice looking books.

when I first got interested in E.C . comics around the mid 70's a lot of those mags could have been purchased for 20.00 or so... but I thought that was a lot of money for one comic... I bought a few and traded some of my other stuff..to get some. .though I never came close to getting the entire E.C. library.. I am glad I kept the ones I did..I do have the complete Russ Cochran Library however... I have many of the comics you were oohing and ahhing over..... AND..I have the complete run of MAD.. comics and magazines.. but I would have loved to have way more E.C.'s... back in the early 70's ... the first appearance of Spiderman in Amazing Fantasy 15.. in 9.5 condition.. could have been purchased mail order from Robert Bell out of Hauppage, New York.. for around 8.00 as well.. wish I would have thought to buy some of THOSE up..!

I agree with you about the need to see all covers in a bigger size. I recently decided to buy the EC cover portfolios which consist of an envelope with page sized reproductions of the covers of a particular title.
