I recently received my adjusters license in April 2024, not sure why its so hard to get a job in the field.
Hi there!!! There is a huge learning curve in this industry. It is also very competitive! Get busy with the following: 1. Get certifications & training. Get proficient in Xactimate. 2. Invest in licenses. With Hurricane season, focus on related states. 3. Get on rosters. 4. Update your resume. 5. Network… find a mentor.
I’m about to take my test in a couple weeks I’m interested in your mentorship program I’m a little lost on what to do after I get my license
Congratulations! As you may have noticed, there is a huge learning curve in this industry. It is also very competitive! These are the things you need to work on… 1. Get certifications & training. Get proficient in Xactimate. 2. Invest in licenses. With Hurricane season, focus on related states. 3. Get on rosters. 4. Update your resume. 5. Network… find a mentor. Where can we see the rest of the interview?
Hi there, all interviews are inside my mentorship community.
@@beaclaimsadjuster is there a link to join or that offers more info about the mentorship community?
Certainly, information to join is on the web page: beaclaimsadjuster.com
Anyone knows if a high school deploma or equivalent is requiered to start? Ive enrolled at the adult school to continue my education but im not sure if I should wait on adjusting licenses until i complete that H.S equivalent.
Hey there, most states are going to require at least a high school diploma or equivalent. What state do you reside in?
Are you a desk adjuster?
I created a video to answer your question. ua-cam.com/users/shortsKAjf9f_XQoI?si=gaum6M71xygvXwMd
Watching on replay ❤
Thank you. This was my first time doing a UA-cam live so I was a bit nervous. I hope the info was helpful. 🎉
@beaclaimsadjuster Absolutely 💯, thanks for sharing, and yes, you didn't show any type of nervousness

I was trying to become an adjuster but i have no idea what to do after i go to the site, any more info? Thanks
Hi there, thanks for your comment. So what site are you going to? What state do you reside in?
@beaclaimsadjuster thanks for the reply, but I am In Georgia, and I work for a call center that files auto claims for USAA, but I was trying to go ahead and become a licensed adjuster because our job said they would compensate us for doing so. So i honestly am so lost and confused, I was on a site earlier call adjusterpro or something like that saying I needed to pay 199.99 for the 40 hours of study, but again, I'm so lost lol, sorry for long response.
Here’s a link to check out my community: beaclaimsadjuster.com

Which company do you work with for Auto aduster or claims?
I am a property adjuster and work with various Independent Adjusting Firms!
Give me the deets please. Thanks a bunch!
I have my adjusters license I live in Maryland, but my home state is Florida. I also have additional licenses in Louisiana, Georgia, and South Carolina. I am property and auto certified by State Farm. I would like to become a desk adjuster. I’ve put myself on several rosters. Any suggestions for a new desk adjuster how to learn the industry. What did day 1 look like for you?
Congratulations and great questions. I have over 200 videos that cover what you’re asking. Check out getting started playlist and other playlist topics. Also, my featured video is called “A Day In The Life”. Hope this helps.
I have my adjusters license, what's next? I've applied for numerous jobs, toward adjuster's and claims however all wants experience that I just don't have.
Check out my playlist called getting started. That might help you.
Are these licenses grouped together in “All Lines Adjuster” license?
An All Lines license does include multiple lines of Authority.

Do I need to get on a Roster or join a mentor, if I want to be a staffed desk adjuster? I do have an all-lines adjuster license.
If you want to be a staff adjuster, you need to apply to insurance companies like you would any other employee type job. If you want to be an Independent Adjuster, then you need to get on multiple rosters of Independent Adjusting Firms. If you want a clearer pathway into the industry, then you hire a mentor.
Once I get all my license how do I go about getting a job most of my experience in customer service and excell
Hello, thanks for your post! Check out my “Getting Started” playlist, which gives a lot of information on getting started in the industry. I also have a playlist called “How to Launch Your Independent Claims Adjusting Business", a 12-Session Series Mentoring Course & Program.” This is an introduction to my course which walks you through the whole process. Hope this helps!
I'm a claims adjuster for Progressive. I specialized in home and auto claims.
That’s awesome! How long have you been a staff adjuster?
How can I get this kind of training where if there’s any online courses ?
You would apply through IA Firms, TPAs, or carriers. She had transferable skills in law enforcement and years as an IA.
Thank you. I am leery of buying programs online.
You definitely need to be careful and do your due diligence. Thanks for your comment.
is auto insurance adjuster a fulltime position or can I do it part time?
As an IA doing local daily claims, you could probably do it part time. As an IA on deployment, the IA Firm will assign work load. As a staffer, it would more than likely be full time. There are many variables.
Are you a sub contractor adjuster or you work for one direct insurance company
I am an independent Claims Adjuster. I do not work directly with insurance carriers, I work with independent adjusting firms.
What is the starting pay for desk adjuster
Each deployment contract is different. It could be a daily rate or an hourly rate for desk adjusters.
What kind of adjuster are you? I have been a PI paralegal for many moons and am thinking about jumping the fence.
Hey there, I am an Independent property adjuster. I handle both CAT and daily claims.
Hey there, I am an Independent property adjuster. I handle both CAT and daily claims.
@@beaclaimsadjuster Thank you for your reply! I am not sure what I am wanting to do as of yet, but have been leaning toward CAT. As an independent, when you are doing CAT claims, how do you handle the out-of-pocket for travel, etc.? Also :D when you travel for CAT evaluations, how many can you write in a day? Thank you again for your time!!!!
Thank you, Slyvia. Agreed!
You are so very welcome. Have you invested in multiple licenses?
