To update one of the comments above: The Westchester Band can be seen on Thursday nights at Chase Park in Scarsdale. 8pm. Bring a lawn chair or sit farther back on the wall or across the street on the steps of the Post Office. Last outdoor concert of 2011 is August 11.

My mom (The lady helping Hollander conduct) was Teresa Helena Irza Piekos. I miss her so much, but am glad that this video is here, and am glad for all the happiness she experienced on the Westchester Band's Thursday night concerts.

That's my mom sitting all the way to the right, wearing blue, with her face often blocked by the flag. I am so happy to see that this was posted as she passed away this past March and the enjoyment she got from listening to this band....swinging away with her arms just like you see in this video, is a wonderful memory. I regretted never having videotaped her doing this, and I'm so glad someone got captured how she reacted to this music and loved to conduct. Please never take this video down.

They cut many difficult things out of the solo and it's too slow in general.

It´s a little slow. Sounds much better at a faster tempo.

Yumi is amazing :D She can play almost anything. I try to go to any of her recitals or concerts :D. Love seeing her play the piano! True talent ^^.
