Turntable noise
Rega planar 2 turntable , unusual noise. Even with no record playing. Disappears when disconnected from Phono stage. It's not a grounding issue as there is no humming.

Quick flight test after big crash repair
Thanks for the interesting video. Not keen on the soundtrack but that’s just my taste. Drones must be very useful for assessing the condition of buildings and making a preliminary plan for repair work. Thanks, all the way from Australia.
Nice drone views
Lovely footage.but muted the music..sorry
HI, ANNABELLE!!!
Thanks for subbing to me...just subbed back
No worries dude. Its always nice to meet people with similar interests in the local area :)
from the look of this video you are an "!in the box" guy. Is that right? I'm currently running everything using hardware and using Cubase as s two track... Guess that makes me old-fashioned!
More down to circumstances than anything else. I love hardware, just dont have the pockets for it at the moment. Im using the NI stuff as the foundation for everything else that I will get over time. I now have a decent audio interface and speakers to hear things on too. That was something holding me back. No point buying synths if I cannot hear them. ;)
A good point. I have been buying and selling gear for years now and have a lot of hardware. I used to sequence everything from an Atari ST running cubase which then died an I never got back into doing the computer thing...til now. And it's such a steep learning curve, It scares the willies out of me! But I'll get there. Just spent ages mapping the MIDI channels in Cubase to all my gear via a MIDI patchbay...that took ages!
Andrew Brooks I can imagine it did. It took me ages to figure out how to send a midi sequence from logic to my monologue. 1st attempt at sampling it... never realised how time consuming it is.
Miss these days!
Glad you enjoyed it. Feels like a long time ago when I did that :)
Thankyou!...That was fantastic!...:)
I could see this thing for years from about 15 miles away but didn't know what it was until some old woman told me a few weeks ago. Going to try and go there soon and have a gander.

Either way, the video is still awesome. :)
makes your horizon look even worse, like a wave. which program was this?
It's called the needles eye.
Yeah, sorry for that. Mrs keeps telling me its Needles eye and I keep messing it up lol
i was just passing by this to day there are bright lights every wear around it like some tips of move scene
I never got satisfactory results with PPM and Naza ( using Chainlink UHF ) so went back to PWM and never had a problem since
Very nice, Planing to go out for a fly today. Took a few good videos last weekend, hope to do the same today
LOL excellent fun
link?
Looks like it simple failsafed
I know it's not recommended but I didn't have 10" props at the time and I ran out 4s lipos, so you could say it was an experiment. I really don't recommend it! It was the first time at that location, it's great if you want somewhere flat and clear. I like hills myself, something with a bit of terrain or features. Thanks for the comments :-)
Nice aerial videos and nice yet very flat countryside but I miss the majestic English Oak trees... ......3S batteries with 8 inch props seems to be far outside of the recommended specifications from DJI....they recommend 8 inch for 4S batteries and 3S for the 10 inch or larger props. But then there is pitch and overall MR to consider also What does ECalc for MRs say about this configuration? It may indicate a red warning that speed range is limited to 80% such that full control is not possible.
I WISH I had a field that big!
Nice works guys, keep it up!
Sweet dude!!
I can recommend firstpersonview .co .uk, they know there stuff when it comes to FPV and support is excellent.
Hi Katie, no fpv used. Look for the fatshark attitude sd system, it comes with all you need to get started. It will be what I get. Get in touch if you have any other questions :-)
Im looking at buying a similar set up soon, what video transmitter and receiver are you using. are you using the fat shark goggles?. I live just off lidget lane which is a stone throw from phoenix park.
Definitely not, I was frozen solid after an hour there! I couldn't feel my fingers again for ages!
Damn that looks cold, no swimming after flying eh?!?
No Props damaged, although one of the leg extensions I was using snapped and the go-pro was knocked off. Nothing serious fortunately as Ive only just finished repairing it after a serious crash a month or so back.
Any damage? Just a prop or two I guess?
Yep that defo jumped / moved into your way at the last second!!! Damn those moving trees ha ha.
looked ok in the wind, had mine out in some heavy winds too!, oh tell Simon to get on with my 90mm legs :D Jim.
I'm not entirely sure if I'm honest, it's flown ok since... In an appropriately open space! Maybe I took off before the GPS had initialised properly, who knows!
What happened?
Watch my failsafe set-up vid, part 2 with assistant screens will be up this weekend
