Caves are underground places not man-made and so without light as to be pitch black. Areas of a cave with moon light or star light from outside are called the twilight zones. Such zones are where most living things are found and exit to secure food or mates.

How do I find a black pixie bob in the US?

    • @amberlilly4101

We have a young black Pixie, with white markings under her chin and her hair is so pretty shiny, and slick. I was beginning to think that there were none. I don't know anything about the owner and what this kitten+ is mixed with as far as the domestic cat, we just got her from a young man that took 4 of the litter and gave us one. The others were more of a Tabby look. But, we just love this little energetic girl, about 3 to 4 mo.s old. I wish I could get in touch with the woman that has these cats. Don't know what the big secret is about getting the name of the person who has the Pixies. I particularly wanted the black. Oh, one of her back legs is almost totally white, so pretty, and on the back of her heal is a round black circle, very unique. Good luck on your black.

You might check local farmers barns. They are & always have been natural occurring feral cat ,bobcat cross breeds. When wild & naturally occurring they may be any color or color combo or style including (a high % of malanistic ones) tail maybe, completely absent, bobbed, abnormally short or even full length or abnormally long. Still beautiful all the same. There size varies greatly even in the same litter no matter what size either or both parents are ,from average house cat size,7lbs to huge 35lb males usually ,females tend to be smaller,in length &/or hieght & lighter, but not always so. These ones I speak of are not selectively breed, but rather wild & naturally occurring & vary alot. In this farmers mind & experience there is no question about then having some bobcat(lynx rufus) canadian lynx or blynx in them. This is not a typographical error. (Blynx) in northern states where bobcat & canadian lynx range can over lap, thay have, can & do cross breed creating blynx hybrids, this is likely why northern bobcats tend to average alot larger than southern bobcats. So blynx, lynx & bobcats have roamed n.y. on & off for years & years & have always been able to cross breed with the very abundant levels of barn cats, strays & feral cats. They vary in all ways including leg length ect? They are some kind of rodent killing machines that will seemingly kill rodents for sport no matter how much food they are given. Some look like canadian lynx or bobcat or just huge ferals. The only thing I find they have in common reguardless of size or color & coat is they in the wild or semi wild barn life have a growl, spit, hiss or roar that more fits a cougar or something if agitated or cornered. They are terrible hard to get near as kittens to domesticate because the mothers are just wild & that defensive. You could end up blind, scared for life or even bleed to death. It's usually to late to ever be able to touch, lift or hold the mother, she is a wild thing by this point in her life, dont ever forget that! But I have built enough trust with some mothers through feeding & careful psychology over a long time, to be tolerated enough by her,to make the difference at an early enough age to domesticate the kittens. A very dangerous game for anyone with any amount of experience to try. You have to be constantly calm & non reactive to mothers aggressive behaviors,do nothing to cause negative reactions in her or the kittens ,just calm & reward & understand that you may have to & be physically & mentally capable of doing the last thing you ever want to do which is kill her in self defense if the kittens are old enough, say 4 weeks anyhow? I have not had to yet,but have been in positions numerous times that stood the short hairs strait up on my ass & neck!!! The reward is 10 fold, now you can actually worm, feed, vaccinate, care for & save ones life when needed. I have a yet 1/2 wild Bombay looking malanistic Tom of 12+lbs,full tail,28" from nose to ass with no tail included at all,a 8.5 month old kitten that sleeps across my chest at night in my house in my chair, his brother is less trusting yet at 16lbs+. I have 10 or so living under my house that showed up January 2020 & started breeding & raising multiple litters at the same time, not uncommon at all for cats with lynx in them. Some are 35lbs. They are wormed, watered, fed regularly, & just able to be touched after a full year of patience & hard work. So flee, vaccination care & more may soon be possible. I guard & protect them with my rifle from the brushwolves when they come around, but the survival rate per litter is still only 50% due to predators, disease & other mishaps. Only 3 ever had true bobbed tails, most abnormally shortailed, some full length. 10 originally showed,2 bred & stayed after running the others off. I got lots of pictures, often poor lighting because of there nocturnal tendencies. Bruttus who left is about 35lbs & near 4 foot long with out his shorter tail.

I suspect you get to this area by first taking NF-7720 and then deviating from it to NF-7710-2. The ridge just above NF-7810 is where Burnt Mountain is and looks to have the kind of dropoff pictured here, but I still can't pinpoint the precise location.. I'd really like to know how to get there as well.

Hey Jeff, just ran across this video. Love the Enchanted Valley. Stayed in the Chalet once back in the late 70's. Of course that was way before the river changed course snd they had to move the Chalet. If you are ever in the area when the ranger has it opened up, you and Brenda should stay for the night it's pretty cool. Nice vid buddy...

Nice video. Brings back memories. 2 friends and I used to go up to Green lake and run down as fast as we could. One of the rules was that we couldn't leave the trail unless it was to jump down to another level of the trail. Of course there were several times we would loose traction on the mossy rocks and logs and go sliding of the trail. We called it the Green Lake suicide run. That was about 1982 or so. We seldom even saw anybody else there.

Just Curious to know, how big a tent do ya think this site could hold? I am planning on staying at Kalaloch next July, and am trying to get an Idea of how big the sites that overlook the Ocean are, I have an (approximately) '7X'9 tent, and am worried from what I have been reading that this tent might not fit on the oceanfront sites, I really don't want to have to camp right next to the highway, but this area is too good to pass up. If you could, maybe give a quick review of the area too.
