The F1 Car of the CENTURY! - 1967 Lotus 49
The Lotus 49. One of if not the most influential F1 car of all time. Colin Chapman and Lotus in the 60's really were at the forefront of modernising the Formula cars of the era past. So it is no wonder that Motorsport Magazine have decided to award this beautiful piece of machinery the Racecar of the Century!
Super pumped to be able to do this video, anyone that knows me IRL knows how much I absolutely love the Lotus 49 and Jim Clark, combine those 2 things with old school Monza and there isn't much better. Hopefully the video portrays how much I really do love this era.
Enjoy!

Why You Should NEVER Stop Trying! - Formula RSS 1970

Mont-Tremblant, probably the hardest Canadian GP I can think of. You can't let your mind wander for a second and with this era of cars even more so. Unfortunately when it happens, you've just gotta do your best to recover. Small video today, didn't have enough footage to make a full video which is a bummer but hopefully it's still enjoyable. Also if anyone out there is interested in giving vint...
The Dutch Chicane of DEATH! - Formula RSS 1970

Little change of pace, video of a practice session I had before a league race at Zandvoort 1973. The track turned out to be way harder than I imagined especially considering I'm used to the 1967 version so the chicane caught me off guard nearly every lap. Thought it might make for an entertaining video especially with me pushing so hard to catch @Squeallyweegons time. Also hope you don't mind t...

With the Austrian GP a couple of weeks out I thought I would have a look at what it used to look like. So here we are the first running of the Osterreichring. With Jacky Ickx winning the real 1970 race and the HSS 70's Ferrari 312B not too far off release I figured I'd use it and see if I could go for the win. As always mod links below, enjoy! www.patreon.com/historicsimstudios racesimstudio.co...
F1 Drivers Were TERRIFIED Of This Track! - Historic Sim Studios BRM P153
Переглядів 3,4 тис.4 місяці тому
Spa in the 60's was no joke, of all the tracks they used to race this was considered to be the most dangerous to quite a lot of drivers. 300 kilometres per hour with houses and sheer drops lining the side of the track is something that is never going to end well. So today we'll be looking at it in the unreleased Historic Sim Studios 1970 BRM P153. Also the HSS Patreon is definitely worth subscr...
When Formula 1 Raced in TASMANIA! - Pessio Porknose RD1

If there's a track that deserves to have had a Champion of Champions race held, it's Longford. Having hosted the last race of the Tasman Series from 1964 till 1968 it's really a shame it wasn't in use past then. Now just a piece of history on the way through to Launceston this track really used to get the attention from ALL the big names in Formula 1 at the time. So why not bring them all back ...

Welcome to Southwest France, the home of the Pau Grand Prix! I never really paid too much attention to this track but wanted to have a look at it before the Monaco Grand Prix this weekend to point out the similarities but did not realise just how much history this circuit truly has! Not only is it the first track to ever use the words "Grand Prix" before it's name it is also the oldest track st...
The BEST French Circuit! - 1965 Lotus 33

The best French circuit to ever exist, Circuit de Charade. With only 4 grand prix ever held here it could've been so much more had they introduced it earlier but oh well. Absolutely love driving this track, so much like the Nordeschleife but a little more forgiving. Apologies for the lag in this video, I switched from Vegas 14 to Vegas 18 and it has not been a 1:1 trade, will hopefully be fixed...

Back again with more practice, this time for the final race of the season for the FGR 1967 series. 3rd video now with a track that means a lot to me as I have been here IRL and love the culture in Mexico so hoping I can put the Cooper a bit higher than it should go for Pedro Rodriguez. Enjoy!

did a similar champions-series with that great Pessio car on my channel...in German though. But maybe you still like to have a look. I love Longford. really tight course, but beautifully done

Another nice one. My favourite track as we are not in danger sitting in our comfy rig. If I had raced there in real life I'd probably s**t myself.

Very nice video. Love this Tassie track and it's perfect for the Porknose RD1s. Just one little thing, If you follow the full installation instructions that come with the Champion of Champions skin pack, you'll have all the period-correct driver helmets. Happy driving!

Thanks I had found it but unfortunately it does not have track bumps or road feel definition so with motion is not good to drive.

It was't the car so much that was in another world as it was Jim Clark's driving. The car could be said to have been engineered for Clark's driving style.

Jim Clark hated Spa after his first race there in 1958. That was the race his compatriot Archie Scott Brown was killed

I do not, only reason being is that I play them in VR or triples so they don't film very well but will look into doing it. ua-cam.com/video/kOzZ4C8k8Dk/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared here's a replay of said race though

Such a comeback. Having to pit is devastating. At Spa I pretty much gave up, crashing again and again. But this is a great reminder to just knuckle down and push back. Well done Bruz!

Fantastic lap! Your consistency is gonna be the winning factor here man. For every 21/22, I flat out crashed about 5 times 😂 And like the Spa race, come race day, I'll still be pushing way too much on cold tyres and losing focus... Tonight's Mont Tremblant is going to be nuts! We're so close on the times and it's such a risky track to push on 😅 Looking forward to it! Another great video Bruz!

Again, very nice video! Thank you. I don't think I could talk and drive as well as you do. haha Sorry about the outcome of the race. But you did have the lead at least! Is it possible to watch the actual races as a spectator? I have AC but have never done a live race. Not really wanting to at the moment. But I'd love to watch. Are there any provisions for that? Thanks again and great job on making your low 1.22.113 time! What was your time during the race?
