Top video. Es abo meh häsch :P
Thank you for this very informative and useful video. It's awesome! Tantra 2 is the most fun I have ever had with a plugin. It's sound design potential is just insane. Especially for psytrance.
Hey, great advice, very good overview. I find omnisphere overpriced, compared to whati got with my DAW included, it's way too expensive, but I got some of the others, which I find useful and good value for money.
I’ll try to do it step by step and fail Any chance it’s because I’m on serum demo? I will buy it if it’s working Killing bass Any chance I can dm you on instagram for questions?
You should be ashamed to say that this sounds like Astrix, for some views GTFO. These are absolutely shitty sounds. Guys Get a waldorf xt or a access virus ,or even try the emulators that are out. Give us a break dude
Bro has 499 dollars omnisphere but not enoug to buy a 15-20 dollars windows 10 key :i My man got he's priorities right! Great video all jokes aside
true🤣🤣
Thx ❤
Add two quadrafuzz init preset and see the magic happens
@@mercuriall4033 i can imagine this may sound very dope, gonna try this one for sure🙌🙌
ABSOLUTELY APPRECIATED BROTHER
@@ddkjai2800 im glad, thx🙏
amazing - thanks for this!!
commenting just to push your content - great
really appreciate it my brother. been offlien for a long time now, but will do more and come back soon :)
🔥🔥🔥
ngl my bassline sounds nothing like yours when i follow the steps but the tips are still good as i can tell the difference in sound.. just unfortunate that i can reproduce what you're doing since it sounds very good
did you try to do it in different keys? I think I've used F# for this one. Remember that every change in key will affect your sound, so if you do it in G or C for example, it will sound completely different. Keep it up, come back tomorrow, try again.. I had many comments who didn't have the same results, and after some days, something changed🙏
@@spectrumofsoundstv I think my issue is that I didn't have the same bounce as you, maybe for different reasons? I'm still experimenting and trying to understand the genre more. I read your other comments too and tried the solutions you provided there as well but still unfortunately did not sound as good your sound is. Right now I'm trying to figure out the bounce you guys are able to create and how to automate the pitch bend since that seems like a fun thing. I appreciate your response btw!! <3
@@carlssonxp Watch out for the same BPM, the same key, don't miss any step I did in the video, put the fractions exactly like I did.. and if it doesn't work, come back tomorrow, try again... it will click I know it
@@spectrumofsoundstv bro i went back and realized there were some issues with my project, created a new one to be on a clean slate and followed your step by step and worked amazingly! thanks for being so active and helpful. much much much appreciated.
@@carlssonxp Mate i missed your response but i'm super glad it worked out for you :)
PS and extra comment for the fractions tip! GOAT haha :P
I'll subscribe to the no bull shit but there are better ways to understand the process and thus finally end with a better result. Not bad though, good no BS video for the too fast and furious ;)
Kosmos! ❤
Amazing, very very good.
Can you make a tutorial teaching how to make a Bass that sounds like Y do I bass? it sound a lot like psytrance bass but, idk, crispier
I just started diving into psytrance production and this was super easy to follow and to the point. Thanks! BTW you don't sidechain?
this was just setting up the Serum without any further post process. If you want to see the whole process, watch my Video "Serum dark powerful Psytrance Bass" and you'll see how to sidechain and how to to other post processes :) Good luck and a lot of joy to you with your development 🙏
@@spectrumofsoundstv thank you! I have been producing for a while, actually, and am well-familiar with setting up sidechain (I prefer ghost track method as it was how I was taught). I've been mostly using presets but I mess around with sound design every now and then.
@@jordynchan5103 it's a great way to get an idea of the different processes with the use of presets. however, I recommend you starting to twitch all of your presets and see what the knobs and different values do to the sound.. if you feel comfortable enough, set every plugin to default and start creating your individual processes, to get the max out of your sound.. presets are nice and very helpful, but you shouldn't rely on them, u know what i mean?
@@spectrumofsoundstv for sure!
thx man!
Awesome, compact and useful tutorial. Thanks!
That last plugin called Tantra sounds cool, I'll have to buy myself a copy, cheers!!!
thank you for the video! what was the purpose of changin the first envelope since it doesn't seem to affect anything?
the changes may not be that easy to hear, but the attack and sustain knob are clearly chaning the sound if u listen closely. attack to 0 will give a harder click, while a longer sttack will do the opposite. the sustain taking down takes a bit of power away in the end of the bass for the transition in to the kick.
Hi, nice video ! I would add Arturia Pigments though as it is my go to for psytrance synths, and I released a psytrance soundbank for it
let's see the bank
Not sure what I am doing differently, but it sounds a lot different. Could you share the Ableton Project please, so I can see where I went wrong?
Dude u just copied the tutorial of Dharma lessons u fcking noob
I am starting Psytrance, i am burning for sylenth vs serum, i will probably get both but thinking starting with sylenth , i really enjoy the sounds …what do you think?
id recommend you Serum first.. just because its the modern version of sylenth1, you can put fractions in, you have more freedom in the LFOs, you will find much more tutorials cause its, the plugin to go atm, etc etc. still, Sylenth1 is a wonderful plugin with a very warm and clean sounds. but if you ask me to choose between the 2 to start with one of them, i'd recommend you Serum.
I mostly use Serum for my PsyTrance basslines cause in my honest opinion, that's where it really excels, hint....if you get Serum be sure to get LFO Tool as well because it makes getting that rolling-bass effect really easy without having to set up a sidechain compressor on your bass, I highly recommend both plugins.
This tutorial is starting my Psytrance journey such good info
glad to hear that my friend, always a pleasure to inspire people 🙌
i dont need more plugins i dont need more plugins i dont need more plugins i dont need more plugins i dont need more plugins i dont need more plugins i need this trance engine thing
it's always the same, isn't it? 😂
done all steps and mine just sounds like a deeper init?
my key in here is F#, so propably try to adjust this. then also make sure to listen first if the octaves you go down sounds the same as in my video. then continue and it should work..
@@spectrumofsoundstv nope still the same it has me confused i’m not sure what i’m doing wrong
@@tristanmerr1242 i had many, of these comments under my videos. if it doesnt work today, come back tomorrow, reset, try again. there is something you're not doing right or you're forgetting. no stress, try again tomorrow
@@tristanmerr1242im curious, did it work?
Great tutorial
GeonKick is a FOSS (free open source) sound designer/generator for kicks and other sounds, with ability to import samples
it looks like a free version of Kick2. Interesting!

✍✍✍🤝Thanks Bro
wow..... simplemente gracias amigo.
You didn’t mention Virus TI, they all use it 😅🤫
ill surely do an updated version in the future 😎
Excellent tutorial
Gracias
not sure why... but i'm getting something different :( inited 3 times already, doing it 3 times, still different
its hard to say for me without seeing what u do.. but i think its the part in the OSC B where i change the first Harmonic a bit.. there its just small differencies which result in another sound.. maybe also its in a different key than yours, which may also result in different sounds.. im at work now and dont know from the top of my head, but i think the Key for this was F# or G. Hope you'll figure it out. if not, come back at me
@@spectrumofsoundstv another day, another try... now it worked on the 1st try. No idea what was the issue yesterday. Thank you!
@@kerenorfrancoit happens sometimes😅 glad you could work it out👍

you are welcome my friend🙌
How do you screen record computer audio and voice at the same time?
OBS Studio and 2 recordings at once, 1 records my screen and screen Audio, the 2nd records my microphone 😉
Kick2 for sonic academy is also very good kick plugin and big kick😉 My new loving synth current from minimal audio ❤ Gatekeeper for gating👌 Best compressor for kick and bassline Chandler germanium compresser, this compressor is insane good!❤ And basslane pro for more control in the low end , mono/ stereo, mid and side compatibility and fix all phase problem in the low end!👊💥🔥 very magic 😮 for mix and mastering!😘 For mastering Michelangelo EQ wow..... magic EQ sound soo good❤ and amek Masterings compressor ❤ And acustica Audio diamond Dynamic saturtion 👌 This change the quality of your Masterings, when know what are you doing!😉
many great plugins you mentioned here. kick2 is very nice tbh, but i still prefer bazzism - propably cause i used it for ages now and its a bit a nostalgic thing.. gatekeeper also very nice, but i wanted to include a free gater in the video.. but thx for your list, ill do more plugin videos in the futere😉
thaaank you !! i have just started my path into making psytrance but your videos have already helped a ton!
