Great video... is this 749R model? I can see it says S but my 749 does nothing after 9 k revs 😢
Thank you very much! It is a 749S from 2005. However even a normal 749 should really pull after 9k revs. You should have that checked out. Would start with air filter, fuel filter, spark plugs and coilovers.

it should power all the way to the rev limiter 12000 Rpm . peck horse power is 10500 Rpm
Nice bike Alex, whats the modification? I just bought a 749 dark , i have problems with shifting and clutch leaver is to hard
Thank you and congrats in a beautiful bike as well. Modifications are 848 evo swingarm and rear suspension adjusted by HKSuspension in the Netherlands. Front fork also adjusted by them and that is mostly it. As for the clutch and shifting, did you change fluids and checked the clutch cilinder? Shifting is also a bit hard on mine and I sometimes miss shift as well. Don’t know if it is a 749/999 thing or anything else, but I got used to shifting with determination 😃
