I've been doing a fair amount of river fishing in the past couple weeks and I must say that when the bite picks up, it's best to take advantage of that time. In this video, I give some pointers on how to locate sauger and what technique I use to catch them in the sweet Ohio River. I hope you all use this technique for your own success if you have sauger in your river system and I hope you enjoy...

Felt the need to venture and go in search of some big bluegill since I haven't had a nice fix since the spring bite. The fog sitting on top of the water was a tell tale sign that I was gonna find these beefcakes eventually. Now that the fall weather is somewhat acting like fall weather, chances are that bluegill and other panfish are getting closer for bank access. I hope you all enjoy this pan...

      @tattooed_angler 5 місяців тому

      It's a Palomar knot tied higher up on the line and what would be your tag end, you take that and go through the top of the eye of the hook but you gotta make sure your hook is pointed upwards. Pull down on the line until you hook is horizontal then attach your dropshot weight to the bottom of the line. I should've explained that in the video.
