@@maizurieta1 Just trying to help the channel. Don't need a bunch of music or noise-the sound was great three times louder than optimum. Great footage etc... just the song ruined it. Good luck-as race track footage like this is too rare, so I think you have great opportunity. Car looks great etc..+ you lines were 1,000 times better than the rookie in front of you.

Normally if I have music I usually bring the volume down to the point where it's just barely audible background noise, unfortunately in this case I thought it was better to raise the background noise to drown out the dismal sound. Time to start looking for a new external mic. Spring rates and camber are relatively conservative. 16k/14k and -3.6 front camber, -2.4 rear camber

Front splitter, rear wing, coilovers, clutch type differential, upgraded front sway bar. Newly installed OS Giken clutch/flywheel running on Nankang AR1 with 4 track days on them. No power mods other than cold air intakes. Thank you for the compliment and for watching my video!

Thanks man. To this day still have no idea why that s2k spun lol. At the time of this video basic bolt on mods: CAI, test pipes, single exit exhaust, coilovers, camber arms, sway bar, Winmax W5/W4 brake pads, Cusco diff, Nexen SUR4G tires and a basic tune by Uprev.

Thanks my man! Glad to know there's an audience for this. It's a bit more difficult for time attackers and road racers to stand out in a sea of street racers, drifter and drag builds. Hopefully that'll change over time though

maizurieta1 What tires did you use? I'm wondering if the Bridgestone Potenza's that originally came with the the Z are pretty good for the track

sharpemang I ran Hankook RS3's with 3 or 4 track days on them. S04's, RE050's or RE760's might do ok. I did a 1:30 running SOW CW in a 7AT 370Z on Bridgestone RE11's back in 2015.

steven barker yup, should be 1:57.147. I did put the correct time in the description though

I learned a lot in that one track day, but there's still more to go. The 6MT has more grunt than the 7AT but the auto makes up for it with those quick shifts and the focus the driver can maintain on steering, braking and throttle input. I was faster by a tenth of a second than my best time in the auto, at the same track and in similar conditions and on the same tires. So that should give you a good idea of what both cars are capable of.
