THIS PHILIPPINES PROJECT WOULD MAKE BGC LOOKS LIKE A SLUM OF TONDO. With billions of dollars spent every year by Philippines govt since 1950's on preventing flooding across Metro Manila, it is very clear they just went to waste like flushing billions of dollars into toilet. To give you a perspective, just for the year 2024 the Phil govt spent 4.5 Billions dollars in anti-flooding projects, by now it is over 100 billions of dollars spent on this endeavor since 1950's. All these anti-flooding projects accomplished nothing. Why they can't solve this problem?, because they using the WRONG solution, the real problem is inherently nature, the land of Metro Manila and Central Luzon is just 0.5 to 2 meters above sea level and sinking by 10 centimeters annually or 1 meter every 10 ten years. This is the solution->>Philippines should be building the SKY MANILA, they should put Metro Manila's 100 km x 100 km land area up by 50 meters using 500,000 posts. There will be three levels, the ground level is the existing land, all vehicles would use the ground level, hundreds of MRT and LRT would use the second level and therefore reducing massive amount of vehicles using the ground level and less traffic, the third level would be vehicle less area, yes no cars, trucks, jeepneys. SKY MANILA is walking , jogging, biking, scooting area. It will be full of skyscrapers no less than 300 meters tall, condos, hotels and offices. The distance between skyscrapers are 30 meters all around it, with trees thriving on concrete cubic boxes of 3 x 3 x 3 meters for each tree, complete with auto watering with vitamins. These concrete cubes for trees are flush on the floor so that people can't see them, only the trees. Hundreds of parks, huge malls, millions of restaurants, thousands of hotels, several thousands of factories using all electric and of course thousands of high tech hospitals. All vehicles will be full electric, non-electric vehicle are not allowed. Many swimming pools, basketball, tennis, football courts, and many sports venues. Hundreds of entertainment arenas. It will have airport for helicopters or any vertical take off planes. Flood will be the thing in the past. This will be finished in 2035. From Filipino concept.
