I was in Qingdao for a quick 30-hour visit, so honestly, I was just checking out some of the famous spots real quick, and they were pretty much in the video. I didn't stay in the hotel for food, because I want to try the local food in the limited time I had. My advice would be, maybe go stay at the international chain hotels, like Hilton, IHG, Marriott, they certainly offer international cuisines. Enjoy your trip!

Hello, thanks for checking out my video. So I took my boy to Beijing when he was 6 and it was in January. The temperature was about -17° which is about 1F. We wore down jackets + fleece-lined sweatshirts + leggings + jeans + hats + gloves all the time outdoors. It was ok and sometimes warm when you are taking steps. But the other day when we decided to go to the Tiananmen Square to see the flag raising ceremony at 4am, we were already standing there and it was like 20 mins before the ceremony started, and my boy told me he needed to go back to the hotel cause it was freezing. Anyway, there were some nearby ambulances and police cars, we asked for help and stayed in their car for the time being. But after that morning, we canceled the great wall trip. It would be much harder if it's windy weather and there will be frosts on the ground in winter time. In general, Beijing in winter time is very pretty, if it snows, the Forbidden City and Summer Palace would look amazingly gorgeous. Highly recommend the ice skating in Summer Palace, kids would love it! Hope this helps and enjoy your time in Beijing!
