Love it! Sounds like King Crimson
UA-cam in Russia is everything. It's a disaster. It was a huge layer of information through which people received professions, learned to repair cars and radio equipment, looked through the eyes of others at the world around them, chose things, guitars, equipment and a thousand other things. Yesterday I downloaded your entire channel, I will learn. Thank you for meeting you, good luck!
mmmm, solid and delicious. May I have another?
Thank you <3 With pleasure!
like it! you're piece moves around nicely! groovy and melodic!
🎵❤
Slapping on a 6 string bass. Love it
Favourite collection was updated :3 I downloaded this video if You dont mind
You manage to get “craziness” to sound infinitely more musical than preconceived “sanity”, BH. One has to wonder why everyone doesn’t try to get crazy on purpose. I wish I could get the same caliber of sound from my Squier Bass Six. Now for a generally unrelated question. Have you ever watched the live action adaptation of Jem and the Holograms? It always looks like you have modeled your image on the title characters in that film, and that’s only good.
I think most people in general don't like to experiment. They would rather copy something they heard. I've always preferred to look for something new and experiment, even if it wasn't as popular as if just played covers. No, I haven't seen that!
I definitely appreciate the way you don’t do the same thing twice, @@music_of_ki . Meanwhile, that film comes recommended.
Was this an improvised piece or a composition? Either way, it's an absolutely beautiful bit of music. You'd be great at soundtrack work, I reckon. Seriously, if I had made a film or video game, I'd definitely consider hiring you for the soundtrack. Especially if it was something with a mystical fantasy theme.
It was improvised. Thank you so much!
With this one, it occurred to me. Have you listened to your share of Victor Wooten, BH? It certainly sounds that way.
I love his philosophy when it comes to being a musician, but I haven't really listened to his music.
That is at least something, BH. One listen I recommend is the 1993 album *Three Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest* by Bėla Fleck and the Flecktones (if you have yet to hear it). Victor’s bass playing, not to mention his original compositions, definitely give you something to latch onto. Since Jaco Pastorius has been gone, Victor has been identified as the greatest living bass player..
Completely lost 🎵 ❤
Thank you so much <3 I always appreciate your comments so much <3 I can tell you are here for the music <3
Very beautiful play of layers ! Really amazing relaxation !
Thank you so much <3 Wow, I don't have to use google translator! :D
One day i will play good music like you
I love your comments! What looper did you get? I actually only use very basic features of my looper so far. As time goes on I will be learning more and more advanced uses.
That's exactly what I did. I got a smaller looper and I liked it so I got a bigger one. I'm so happy to be an inspiration ♥️
Thank you <3 I think music doesn't have to be very complex to be beautiful. I'm still learning how to use the looper. I LOVE the possibilities <3 I'm so happy that you got inspired! I'd love to see you use it! Please record a video and share with me <3
@@music_of_ki Again for some reason UA-cam deletes my comments, I can't understand the reason. Here it is and in 5 minutes it's gone.... Yes, you know, against your background my game will be much worse, and I am simply ashamed to send you something at the current stage of development. But overall I don't mind sharing, I just don't have anything special yet) I think it will take me some time to have success and then I am not against sharing. Looking at your game and the combination of intervals, I have already understood a lot for myself, all that remains is to put it in my hands And I never played chords with slap or melodic parts. I mainly played metal and classic rock. Often these were eighth notes with fills. Now, looking at you carefully, I am rebuilding my thinking and learning harmony, but I am only at the beginning of the journey. The bass guitar has opened up in a completely new light, it is more interesting than playing eighth notes
Tammy the beauty
Very good Tammy! A dark piece that can only end one way as it did!
I'm glad you enjoy my videos <3 I love making videos every day. I'm still not sure where my channel or my creativity is going, but I love doing it!
First because of this title i watched ending and then whole video xD
Can you sing too, BH? How about at the same time? Pardon me if I’ve already asked.
Singing is not a thing I ever really do. I've thought about it though.
This channel is such a hidden gem! 🤗
Thank you so much <3 <3 <3
Thank you <3
It had to be during this video when I finally noticed that the architecture of your bass includes 2 S pickups and the split coil in the neck.
I added the middle pickup myself!
Toca muito! 👏👏👏
Is the Tonex used in this recording?
Yes it is. It is used in pretty much every recording since I got it like half a year ago or so. However I also have Strymon Bigsky that I use pretty much constantly and Strymon Ola.
just came across your channel and am really digging your compositions/demos! what's the scale length of your 6 string?
Thank you ♥️ it's 34 scale
@@galimatya No difference! I was curious about the bass specs... is that ok with you?
@@music_of_ki Appreciate the response :)

Thank you! I appreciate the nice words <3 Since I started posting regularly, my audience have been growing. I will continue posting content regularly, and we will see where it gets me :)
Comment for better range :3
Amps are cool, but come with a lot of problems...
I have stopped using amps long time ago (I still have my good old Trace Elliott from the 80's though). I'm using different preamps and plugins in my DAW.
Plugins are amazing. One reason I love this Tonex pedal for is that I can have exactly the same tones in my recordings and on stage.
Is this just Bass ---> Tonex ---> Recording or there is a simulated amp too?
It is only bass -> Tonex -> audio interface
@@music_of_ki holy this pedal sounds massive!
Right? It sounds amazing!
0:45 is so nice effect :3
very good!
Excellent Tammy! More please!
great!
Put of curiosity, BH, what tuning do you utilize on that bass? I realize it is supposed to be B-E-A-D-G-C, but I keep thinking that if I had a 6-string bass in this format (my 6-string being a Squier Bass Six which is a guitar tuned down an octave), I would tune it B-E-A-D-B-B.
It is standard tuning BEADGC. Why would you tune it that way?
Favoring my identification primarily as a guitar player, @@music_of_ki.
this composition had me thinking about the original matrix movie. not any particular scene, but just that feeling of biting coolness. great work!
That's awesome ♥️

Is it a ESP LTD RB-1006BM bass with extra J pickup? Looks so cool!
It's RB-1006with one extra pickup, the one in the middle, which I added myself!
I do agree it looks so good!
BH, you should be collaborating with Geddy Lee, Ian Anderson, John Paul Jones and Robert Fripp.
OMG Thank you!
this is SO sick. join my band that I haven't formed yet lmfao (just joking...unless??)
HA! Well I'm not playing with any band at the moment so...
Do you work for Jaafar Jackson? 😊
Maybe one day <3
@@music_of_ki you should you're the bassist and his the singer to bring back his legacy ♥️💖
I wish i had a groovy bassist like you to jam with
Thank you! <3
Tell me, how often do you include overdrive? I don’t myself while playing bass, but I bet it would sound sweet for you.
Very very very rarely, I should experiment with that more!
