CORRECTION: The connector discussed in this video is responsible for communicating to the Hybrid battery Cooling Fan. With the corrosion built up on the connector the Hybrid Battery Cooling fan wasn’t being commanded on to cool down the hybrid battery in the trunk.

Engine codes: P0380; P0489; P0700; P2141; P2144 Multiple codes in the fuel heater/glow plug circuit, traced back to a shorted out Fuel Heater. Always a good idea to check your glow plug/intake heater relay aswell. Hope this helps.

What's the plastic assembly under the right-side noise maker, with the small tube from the coolant reservoir? Is that a thermostat also?

I think you are wrong about the year because 42rle is stopping with the 2011 jeep wrangler
Quite possibly! I will look into that thanks for the info!
They stopped making the 42rle in Jeep Wranglers in 2012 apparently, but they still made the Ultradrive style transmission under different names until 2019. Very possible that this Jeep being a 2013 would still have that transmission in it since its so close in years, and obviously you can see the transmission in the video, definitely a 42rle. I definitely could’ve mistaken the year also.
I had mecanic change mine because it was shifting rough he said it needed that now my transmission starts driving in first gear ad then shifts imitate to 3rd I belive and WIll only drive in 3rd an stays In third no matter what speeding go not to sure what to do now Have a 2010 wrangler Unli sport
Honestly to me that sound like a shift solenoid issue. Obviously there’s no way to know without properly diagnosing the vehicle, but typically a solenoid will be responsible for multiple gears, so it would make sense that if you’re missing certain gesrs but others are working fine , a shift solenoid could be malfunctioning. Youd have to drop the pan, ohm out the solenoids and/or command them on or off.
What size torx was used?
Did you remove the lines out the front ? Or towards the back ? Thanks in advance
I had to cut the rubber part of the line to keep it from binding and pull it out toward the back. Not as easy as he states
I pulled the lines out towards the rear of the vehicle, while its not necessary to cut them to remove them it’s not a bad idea. I tend to not cut or hack customers parts so i can be sure i will be able to reinstall (if i had to cut it to get it out i wouldn’t have a process or plan of action as to snake the lines back in)
Just got a 05 Prius with the same problem fixed it in the morning by bypassing the connector and the light when off
