YOUR NOT AN OPERATOR, IF YOU HAVE OVER 25K HOURS OF SEAT TIME ACTUALLY DOING WORK LIKE TRENCHING FOR WATER MAINS, STORM DRAINS,SEWER , DETENTION BASINS ....ETC THAN YOU CAN CALL YOURSELF AN OPERATOR UNTIL THAN YOUR JUST A YOUNG KID WHO CAN MOVE EQUIPMENT, I'VE BEEN OPERATING SINCE 1998 AND I WILL SAY THAT IN THIS VIDEO ALL YOUR MOVEMENT WAS DONE WITHOUT ANY PURPOSE OR FOR LACK OF BETTER WORDS "WASTE OF FUEL" AND ACCOMPLISHED NOTHING......

I watched a Landrover get rolled in the Hopkins and the Army Unimog sent in to rescue it got rolled too. Haw haw. The water was 50' from Monument Hut and bank to bank. "Looks OK Scotty." Wow !!! - I understood that the Hilux is 'indestructible' I've had 3 of them over the years and almost got a 4th one but decided to go for the Ford Ranger instead After seeing this, I'm so glad I did! I am really impressed with the Ranger considering how much of a Lux'y fan I used to be Bad luck with your adventure and better luck next time with the river crossings I used to live in Timaru and you guys are in ChCh - now Im in Perth over in OZ My 4x4 adventures over here involve Bush, Sand, Rocks, and Hills and unfortunately, very few Rivers to go through
