The base is from Mattos design and I bought 2” steel square pipe locally for the legs and pole.

I just measured 75” on them.

I initially used 1/2” PVC on the bottom, but it bowed under the pressure of the arch, so I changed to 1/2” EMT. It isn’t a direct fit, so I used self tapping screws to connect the PVC coupling to the EMT. Strong fit after that.

So I used the RGB Trim from Mattos Designs. I used that really do to the quality of the pixels they offered with it. As for how it was mounted, I had the house cleaned (pressure washed) and then I screwed them into the soffit. The soffit has vents on it as part of the airflow that goes into my attic and then out the attic vents to provide natural circulation. There are 2 or 3 screws in every meter length section and if I ever removed them, those screw holes are not that different that the perforations that already exist in my soffit, so I'm not too concerned there. I have another video of the whole display walk through that may show what you are wanting to see better. Thanks for watching and reaching out.

@@ThomasFamilyLightShowAre your soffits sallow? Mine are 3 inches deep which will put the puck lights above the end of the soffit so they will not be level. I think I will need to get deeper channels so they go all the way up of design some brackets. Thank you for the reply.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean. Mine should be visible int he videos for you to compare. I'm assuming if you are mounting the lights behind something that could block the light, given your soffits are 3" deep, then you would need to be aware of where you position them close to the edge or close the the house to ensure you get the right wash on the house or visibility from the appropriate viewing angle you are planning for.

So you stated a few things in this post and I’ll try to answer them, but I would need a lot more information to potentially help you troubleshoot. I would also recommend getting on the xlights zoom room and see if they can help. First, I am not using a sound blaster, I have my music playing from the FM transmitter on the Kulp 16 board. It sounds like you have that set up in what you said, but you need to make sure you have the plug-in installed and the settings right in the controller tab for the transmitter. There was one setting that I had to change off of the default 0, not sure what that was off the top of my head, but until I did that, I didn’t get any sound. Next your questions center around running your pixels and sequences. To help you there, we would have to dig into how you have everything set up in Xlights, whether you are running FPP or not and a number of other questions that could probably be answered best on the zoom room.

Thanks for the call out. I wasn’t really trying to do an antenna video, but can see the value. I’ll bring the box in and do another one that shows that process a little better. I really wanted to talk about how the RDS signal killed my quality. After getting that turned off, it was great. I could hear it about 100yds down my road which is what I was wanting. I may need to select another station though because someone is using an FM transmitter in their home on the same frequency, so you can hear the music when you enter the neighborhood, but then lose it as you pick somebodies house up and then regain it when you turn the corner and are in line of sight.

Thank-you, I would have been able to hide a few more, but I started using standard length extension cords and then I started making my own. I gave a ton of thought to the routing and decided to not do some things due to not being fond of how the routing would be.
