Rendition was OK. The Beach boys were a studio band. Because of Brians perfectionist persona this song took over 100 takes. I have to judge a band on live performances. Frankly saw them live twice in 60s and they were very poor sounding and believe me Im being kind.

Will suggest some of their best numbers (and my favorites) for you to perhaps try - in another comment...... Greg PS - The Beach Boys are always very difficult to cover, faithfully, and I've heard just about about all of the few groups out there - and of course think a lot of the fabulous "Fendertones" but you guys do a very nice job here - especially considering this was a live stage performance and not a well-doctored studio video which can cover up and/or add many things as to a performance we all know.

Mike, I like the intent and ambition to do this song. It would be an order of magnitude better if the Brian Wilson falsetto part was not done like a parody of itself, and if you got a better digital instrument sample for the Theramin unit.

Ahhhh it was still excellent but the way the vocalist opened up was totally not true to the song. Carl Wilson released that first "I" in such a sensual way on the master. Here it was not even close.

That started out sounding like a segue into Steely Dan's "Do It Again"

Cruisin through Beach Boys covers, you never know what you're going to get. But these guys, these guys they were pretty good. Timing is perfect. Mixing is great. High voice, almost spot on. These guys are fun!
