Hi, I'm Jacob and I like to ride bikes. This channel's purpose is to share my bike journey with you.
Bean Peaks MTB flowy trail system | Prescott, AZ
I've heard good things about the new flow trails in Prescott, so I decided to make the drive and check it out.

Hogs | Sedona, AZ

The next step on the triple H list for me, Hogs. This is a little bit more difficult than Hiline, in my opinion, in terms of the mental game. The features are less straight forward and more slippery than anything on Hiline. I sure had more crashes on this trail than any trail I've ridden. The features are super fun to ride, but the entire "DH" route is more of an xc traverse. Be prepared to ped...
Hiline | Sedona, AZ

It's time I tackled the world-famous Hiline trail in Sedona. This trail is definitely now my favorite trail, I've ridden to date. There wasn't too much difficulty, considering I cleaned every feature. Labeled a double black, I didn't really see any difference, in terms of difficulty, from most blacks I've ridden. All things said, I had a blast riding Hiline! Trailforks: www.trailforks.com/trail...
Blue Canyon Black | Window Rock, AZ

I needed to document rides on the reservation to best fit the channel's name. What better place to start, than the capital of the Navajo Nation. The Blue Canyon trail shown on Trailforks is mostly a hiking trail. About 1/4 of the entire trail was fun on a mountain bike, which was the last downhill section. All-in-all this trail was okay. Riding through the Fall aspens | Flagstaff, AZ
Переглядів 2662 місяці тому
Fall in Flagstaff features colorful leaves on the aspens within the mountains. I've never seen the aspens up close, so I decided to make a video documenting my experience. The trails I shot are the AZ and the Inner Basin Trail. Trailforks links: www.trailforks.com/trails/azt-san-francisco-peaks-16346/ www.trailforks.com/trails/inner-basin-trail-17792/
Slim Shady + Templeton | Sedona MTB
Переглядів 3702 місяці тому
Slim Shady combined with Templeton is a fun 3 mile descent. The difficulty on Trailforks for both of these trails is a black diamond, but they both are more blue trails. Only the last section of Templeton is black. There were, however, many hikers. Plan on that slowing down your flow. Hotshots | Flagstaff MTB

Hotshots is a downhill trail that last a little over 1 mile. It is worth checking out, but you’ll have to do a bit of climbing. Trailforks link: www.trailforks.com/trails/upper-hotshots/
I got a new bike!

Testing out my new Trek Fuel EX. It may be used, but still is in great condition.
Upper Oldham | Flagstaff, AZ

When looking at trails to ride, I saw that Upper Oldham was not so popular. I wanted to check it out for myself and it was better than expected.
Time to practice some jumping | Fort Tuthill bike park
Переглядів 4235 місяців тому
This was my first time to Fort Tuthill bike park. I made it a goal to come to the bike park, at least once a week, to learn how to get some air with my mountain bike. Here is a little video to show my first attempts. I will post an update video, later on in the year, to show my progress.
Single Black in Page AZ | MTB
Переглядів 5 тис.5 місяців тому
I've spent most of my life coming to Page, and I never knew there were black diamond trails for mountain bikes. The Red Mesa trail system is centered around Navajo sandstone that naturally creates steep rock rolls. There are dozens of potential lines that can keep you riding for hours. I definitely had a blast riding here. Trailforks link: www.trailforks.com/trails/hives hoodoos/
Scorpion to Pyramid | Sedona, AZ
Переглядів 2426 місяців тому
This ride's video features two trails, Scorpion (blue) and Pyramid (black). Scorpion is infested with bumpy rock gardens, which sacrifices flow and speed. Be prepared to flat on that trail. Pyramid, on the other hand, has fun technical chunk to it's downhill. There are many drop opportunities, but everything is rollable. Little Bear MTB | Flagstaff AZ
Переглядів 4796 місяців тому
Little Bear is a blue trail with fantastic views. Loose rock and good exposure makes your riding a little sketchy, but does not sacrifice the fun. Trailforks Link: www.trailforks.com/trails/little-bear-16323/
Full Sail
Переглядів 5097 місяців тому
If you enjoy jumping, you will enjoy Full Sail! This new blue trail is 3 miles of hard packed rolling fun. You will need do around 4 miles of climbing to get to the trailhead. Trailforks Link: www.trailforks.com/trails/full-sail-760575/
Meteoride | Flagstaff, AZ
Переглядів 5 тис.7 місяців тому
Meteoride is a new black diamond trail in Flagstaff, AZ. It features steep rock rolls, flowy jump lines and drops. This is now my new favorite trail in the Flagstaff area. Trailforks link: www.trailforks.com/trails/meteoride/

Heart Trail | Mt Elden, Flagstaff AZ
I’ll be heading to Flagstaff in a few months when it warms up some. Have a Meet Up with the viewers that can come and show us some trails you like. ( I travel around full time camping and riding Mountain Bikes ) #bikelife
Good idea.
It’s like riding on the moon 👍
Super cool
I know the trail is a mountain biking trail and the sign said to yield to bikes, but you didn’t even try to slow down when you came upon the hikers, nor did you say thanks to them for moving out of your way. Trail etiquette by mountain bikers keeps the trails open to us and keeps everyone safe.
That trail is so much fun buddy! Good work🫡
Save a trail for me. Couldn't wait till Christmas was over so we can hit the road in the transit. Coming down from up north with the stumpy. Be there before ya know it. Nice work.
I couldn't imagine doing THIS. So I really enjoy these POV vids of this sport. Really makes me wish I had a VR headset!
Good ride & great views 👊
Love that stuff 🤠💙 and respect from Colorado ✌️Ahe`hee brother 👍

@navajomtb ✌️💙🤙
Hell yea!
Dude sick video!!
You had the two rock rolls had you not been so heavy on the brakes. Line choice and a bit of speed helps through the chunk there. Fun trails for sure. And the little jump line at the bottom - Pig tail? Also fun.
Yes, I need to work on my braking and speed on technical features.
Rowdy!!
Great video. Good job pre-riding and walking sections you weren't 100% ready to ride on-sight. Live to ride another trail.
different route than ive ridden before, still looks like a fun ride
Hey man! 👋 I live in flagstaff and I'm going down to sedona tomorrow morning with a few friends. Hit me up anytime you want to ride!!!
Got it!
No word of warning or thank you as you take the right of way from hikers?
It’s a real quiet thank you, you have to turn up the volume. I was out of breath and focusing on the trail.
The Yield triangle used to say hikers yield to bikes. There’s a lot of spots once you commit stopping is not possible. Next needed is a sign for hikers recommending stand on the hill side, not the cliff side.
Just say what you want. "Be sure to warn and say thank you to hikers."
bikes have the right of way on hi line
@@myotherusernamerules Thank you although it's not a reason to justify not warning or thanking. Adding how many bikers are still in your group is also good for safety.
WOW BEAUTIFUL. THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST MTB VIDEOS EVER ON YT. SIMPLE, CLEAN EDITS, NOT A BUNCH OF EGO YAMMERING AND YOU ARE JUST HAVING FUN AND I CAN FEEL THE VIBE!
🤙
BANANAS BROTHER KEEP UP THE VIDS. GREAT STUFF
Nice riding! Good job on the entrance and the chute
Hello my friend. My name is Luís Martins, from Coimbra, Portugal. Just watched your vlog and...had to tell you: cuddos! You're one hell of a brave rider! The amount of exposure on more than half of that trail would freeze me to a halt. Absolutelly coudn't ride that...And so, good for you! Absolutelly great no fear riding! Cheers from Portugal!
Cheers
Nice work!
🤙
new bike, or rental?
@@bryanm.3026 new bike
That is a gnarly trail. Nice riding for sure.
That’s cool. I gotta try that !! I’m from tuba. We gotta ride sometime!!
For sure.
Hey I may be wrong but I think I rode with you in sedona with the meet up for epic ride?
@@ivanbejar5 yes sir.
3:50 What is a blue thing
wow, that inner basin trail looks like a great spot
I highly recommend bringing a bell down to Sedona. I have one of the Timber bells that jingles as you ride with a toggle switch to turn it off.
How's the Trek Fuel EX treating you?
It’s an awesome bike!
Congrats on the new bike! I have that same bike, and once you'll learn it, you won't want another bike.
Good to hear!
Is the Shultz fire scare from a few years ago?
Not sure.
I believe this burn scar is from the pipeline fire in 2022.
I used to ride UP (and down) Upper Oldham in the early nineties on a rigid Trek 8000 when you knew everyone you met while out riding. I was 19 and made of rubber. I forgot about this old test piece. I will do it later this week on my all carbon full squish. Thanks for riding the rough old school stuff. You are a real mountain biker and a Flag Local. I like your balls!
Interesting story. Glad I'm inspiring some riding.
glad your ok after that wipout. looks like the trail hasn't been maintained in awhile with all those logs lol
Hope you heal quickly.
Great video and some super riding-glad you’re okay. Your adventures are inspiring. That’s a gnarly trail-the road less traveled.
Amazing views! Pretty cool you're Navajo (I'm assuming) and are into MTB. Respect
4/4 Navajo
Sweet Park. I’m gonna have to check it out this week.
Rock on. Literally!
what day of the week was this and what time of year? It's awesome that it seems like you're the only one out there, haha!
@@stuffsethmakes this was this past Saturday. Everyone around Page likes basketball and rodeo, no mountain bikers there.
@@navajomtb haha, nice!
usually I get super bored watching these pov videos but as I hovered over it and it played a little bit I got intrigued, haha! Looks like a super fun ride! Thanks for posting!👊🏻
at 4m 30 ish, we have the same water bottle, and also , holy shit dude, you went down that super steep ridge?? that part where you ended is the part where I started from ! haha
I did it on new years day, i cant wait to come back up! it is definitely a whole day thing, I would do the north part first, then eat lunch at the car, then go hit the south part. when I went I just went all over with no plan, except I could tell where the parking lot was based on the power lines, so that was nice as a beacon since there's no trees to use as landmarks. This place would make for the best collaboration video with multiple POV angles to split video from. the best views are third person out there, as the First Person View just kills the level of steepness this place actually has. I shot it in superwide which was a mistake I think. I just got the new hero 12 and I cant wait to come back and re-shoot it with the 8x7 format
Good ideas.
Fascinating terrain. Amazing riding! Kudos
Great ride! You were really crusin’.
Nice job! Can't wait to visit Page and ride it.
I'm gonna smoke this trail next week.
Have fun.
These trails look fun! Where are they?
www.trailforks.com/trails/big-bang-563402/
Nice riding. How would you compare this to riding a black in Sedona?
Sedona is more chunky.
Great clip mi amigo! My chika and I just recently rode full sail. You had a blast out there.
