I’m a little concerned about driving the switchbacks to Takkakaw Falls. Do you think it is manageable in late September for someone who has not driven in mountain conditions or the right hand side of the road before?

Love Banff. Visited many times in my childhood from Scotland, I have family in Calgary . I was 17 the last time I was there. Hot springs and Christmas shop sticks in my mind.

Moved from Hilo to Makawao had a house on Makawao ranch acres right up from the park. Went to Saint Joseph’s.

I've done the roundtrip through Icefields so was thinking of going one way through it then back via the alternate with a stay overnight in Kamloops or Radium.
