I had this album on cassette as a boy. I remember liking this song -- now I see it was written by Boyce and Hart, best known for their work for the Monkees.

George Young has the purest Alto sound !!! He at times sounds ike a violin of the pureest sound.

This was Eric Burdons first Solo record. I couldn’t find it on Spotify, which is rather lame in terms of whomever is managing his catalog on Spotify. What a beautiful sound just before the psychedelic storm. This was recorded around the time Jimi Hendrix entered the London scene. Eric’s Manager was the prolifically dodgy sociopath Micheal Jeffrey, whom signed Jimi Hendrix and the boys to a standard 1960’s rip off Contract in Partnership with Chas Chandler. This is a special album, especially because of where it sits in terms of the time when it was being produced and recorded - Late 1966. Love it

The song was recorded in 1951 for Columbia Records A&R Mitch Miller. Columbia released the album in 1959 to cash in on Louis and Keel's success on Capitol Records, particularly after the big hit "That Old Black Magic."

Starr had natural Blues dynamics. She instinctively sang bluesy.
