Thank you Amivi! I love each of my students and wish I could create a video for all of them! However, they take a lot of time! So, each year I look at all my graduating seniors and look for those who I think it will really impact the most. This is the hardest as that is all of my students. In choosing Amivi Boko, the determining factor was that her mom and younger siblings were still in Africa and had no idea what she was doing here. I am glad you liked her video. I have a few others that I have done and this year my baby graduated and so I was able to shoot hers as well. Thanks!!

He was also so kind and caring about his students just like you. I am so grateful that I had that teacher in high school. Thank you. Yeah, kind of weird right? It was part of the Fan Fest section and was more geared towards the youth, however, they had a cool little medal that they offered if you did it and you know runners, they will do just about anything like running for hours just to earn a medal! So of course I did the jump and earned my medal! It was fun anyhow!!!

@@kyledegrofffilms9612 oh, ok, thanks! :) I'm a 3:20 guy trying to someday make Boston. I turn 40 on 11/5/23, so I can get under the 3:10 40M standard for the 4/2024 Boston! I thought it was the actual finisher medal, but that wouldn't make sense lol. Thanks for taking the time to respond and clarify it :)

Wow. The tough part that no one really sees. Kudos to you for pushing thru. Boston, No, not yet. But I ran Rome last month and now Barcelona in May & London should be the biggest of the year for me in October. Looking forward to those. I'm barely a sub 4 Marathoner tho 🤭. @@legendsofmyself wow, way to go! There is definitely something about running that draws you in and becomes a part of who you are!! This was my eighth marathon and the best by far. On my UA-cam Chanel you can see some of my other marathons. I started out at a 4 hr. marathon at 11 years old and worked my way up to my qualifying time for Boston and my best time so far of 2hrs and 46 min. Keep running, I always say, "It is always a great day to run!!"

I am glad you enjoyed the video and I hope you have a great run at the Marathon. So, the flag is an Ecuador flag which is where I am headed to live for the next two years! I have a lot to learn especially the Spanish language! Good luck on your run!

@@hectorguzman6122 Thanks Hector, no more long pants for me! I will be running in shorts -shocker! That stinks to have had a knee injury, injuries are not fun! So far I have been able to run injury free!!
