To be honest, here I hope for it as well, unlike with "The Acoylte" and "Rings of Power" where I would be glad, if they just leave it with no further season comming.

I haven't watched this crap, of course. I checked out of Kennedy-era Star Wars after the abomination that was The Last Jedi. But I enjoy watching critics rip it apart! - And hey, you gave a shout out to A Stolen Life. I love that movie!

No, it’s objectively horrible. From dialogue writing, to acting, to story development. It’s objectively a bad a show. Hence it’s 18% rating.

Episode 1 and 2 were okay. Episode 3 was absolutely crap.
For my part, it is rather interesting to discover the era of the High Republic as well as the ancient precepts of the Jedi Order, such as for example, the fact of using your lightsaber less and a little more The Force and his dodging skills.
I've heard so many people talk about fire in space even though ships casually burned in space in all three trilogies and all expanded materials too. Did people just noticed after 40 years that space physics in Star Wars aren't very realistic?
Laws of physics don´t have to be fullfilled in every detail in an entertainment movie, but hitting people on the nose with that isn´t necessary either. Explosion, sound - yeah, that´s fine, it´s even more reliable than elsewise, but they could have just done it differently, cause the fire doesn´t ad and is not necessary - or put in a better plot, then people don´t notice such stuff.
@@OneCallingDesert Open fire is an obvious indication of damage and danger for the audience. So saying it doesn't add anything is inaccurate however you look at it. Just like when Nubian cruiser was burning in Phantom Menace and R2 with company went to repair it.
I love the emphasis on martial arts and seeing the Jedi back on top. I'm also genuinely curious to see who's pulling the strings. After episode 3 we find out the night sisters can make a baby using force magyk, that's hella interesting and ties in to Anakin. What's wild to me is people were hating on this show months before it came out.
