The word for pineapple is ananas in almost every other language in the world. It's pretty much only the Spanish who call it piña, and then of course you have pineapple in English.

Appelsin = Apple Cin (Cine/Cina/China) = Chinese Apple. Even the scientific name reflects this: Citrus sinensis. I believe it is the pattern for a few more items of (assumed) Chinese origin, but I can't think of any, atm.

Great that you love norwegian snacks. Kvikk Lunsj is a creamier and lighter version of a Kitkat. Everyone in Norway loves to go cross country skiing and they eat a Kvikk Lunsj along with a orange during the trip. They have a rumor that during the olympics in Oslo in 1952 they sold 10 million of it. So it's a popular chocolate.

I went to the comments to see if any other norwegians said something when you said "Oh its like a kitkat" to the kvikk lunsj... But since no1 has said anything...
