@joeljohnson8249 how in the hell did you get 2.8 out of a autolinea case ? Max bore is 94, max stroke is 86 in those cases.

@smokepeddler the sides are welded to build up the wall thickness it was done by a famous vw tuner at the time called Jeff Denham

@@joeljohnson8249 I know Jeff. Now it makes sense. He welded and relocated the studs. A lot of work. Hang on to that motor.

@smokepeddler that's super you cool, say hi from me please, the motor is a torque monster now after the refresh, check out my other videos, I'm getting closer to the 11 but need more seat time and less mechanical sympathy which is hard as I know how difficult it would be to replace this motor

@lancelanphier9509 that was years ago, check the more recent videos. At that time I had only careful driven around the block, but wanted to make it to that show just to even park it there with my friends, the drag strip was mostly for pics at that point

@@joeljohnson8249 Sadly not on Facebook as they blocked me for posting an advert selling a table & chairs in 2 different groups.... with no appeal! No loss in my opinion. I just noticed the photo of the sign with Redditch on it and with the yellow bumps on the road I was guessing it was the dual carriageway by Alcester ( that now has 50mph average speed check cameras either end, sadly).
