Most people I see getting this degree are fast tracking to getting their MBA in TI Management as well. This is solely the business track. I seen a lot of IT guys who get into IT Management and absolutely hate it. However, there are other people out there with personalities that accel in Project Management roles. I was in the US Navy where projects fail all the time and you have several days of fire alarms with lots of stuff that needed done yesterday. I can say that IT generally is pretty low stress, so going into a management role would feel like a huge cultural shock. I support people who want to go the business route in IT instead and would recommend this degree (with the warning that you will not be making big bucks right out of the gate).

This class is horrible it has nothing to do with it management, the PA has random questions about Elon Musk, random social media marketing terms, tons of trick answers, how does a computer connect to Bluetooth, the spreadsheet part was absolutely horrible it didn't even function right trying to calculate the total income stuff

I have watched all cohorts & read all the materials. I scored 80% plus on all module quizzes. But when I just took my OA today & didn’t pass. I’m pretty mad. 😡

How similar was the pre assessment to the OA?

Where do you find the information for the course? On my PA it seem to ask question that are not in the course material. Like about BPM

IT sales!! It’s insane getting passed for people straight out of college with as much sales experience I have.

Where are the excel portions? My instructor will not provide this, if anyone can help that would be amazing. This is the most difficult course to date for me.

Thank you for the information. I have one term left before starting my nursing program. I was hoping this was my last term (ends in December), but life happens. I have 2 classes left this term after completing applied algebra. I'm hoping to move up one more class so I only have 3 classes left in my last term.

Thank you. I am overloaded on this class and about to take the OA for the second time. Professors at WGU should take note of how you made sense of much of the material. We pay the school, but I just relied on a free UA-cam video to understand this class. Not good. Thank you again.

Probably and statistics was way easier than this. I have such a hard time with this and I don’t know why. I’m going back after a long break and I have to do this class. I’m getting it out of the way as soon as possible.

Excellent, thank you! I had chiseled away all my options to either this or the General IT degree, and this video sealed it for me. I'm going to hammer through the General IT that accelerates a Master's in IT Management. I'll take my time finishing the Master's portion, possibly never finish it if I'm honest. I'm going through a major career change from a manufacturing maintenance/management career into IT because of the physical punishment I've endured doing the former. Long road ahead, but I've already stacked up a bunch of my gen ed's through SDC/Sophia.

Would I be able to skip the text book and go straight to the templates and resources they provide?

Basically you can’t skip a Help Desk Position with this degree especially if you have no IT Industry experience

There's actually two degrees, one associated with science/ the other associated with business. It's on the website.

I am stressing for this class. I do have IT experience. I have sec+ and yet I see nothing but horrible reviews online for this class. I hope you're right and it's not that bad
