Brought a knife to a gun fight and won. Track was drying and not in perfect condition yet. Clip of the first few minutes. Managed to hold 1st in this one. Take a GLTC car at 2950 lbs, 215whp peak and 200tw tires....add 80 lbs to be NASA legal for 275 tires. Could have 267whp avg and been legal.

Had a great battle with Zac and Brian. Unfortunately for Brian and his GLTZ, they had used the car the previous night in the drifting sessions as a chase car. The full power tune had been used and they forgot to replace it with the lower powered GLTC tune. They didn't realize until after this race but made sure to let the Race Director know and were DQd for this race. Kudos to them for honesty ...

Zero lift through 16, that's just awesome. What car? And what's with that Civic behind, I am guessing it no longer has the stock motor LOL.
LS2 swap in a Scion FRS. GLTC is a power/weight series. The Civic is driven by Eric Kutil.
*The* race that started it all for us! It's been fun racing with ya since then, brother.

Gforce 4sp dog Racing on street tires. It’s what we use in GLTC so just ran that setup.

Thats wicked fast for a fairly stock s2k, even with R compounds. Very interested in the suspension setup, i have a stock 05 s2k with an APR wing/FA500s. Mind sharing the specs(spring rate, valving) of the coils? I hear great things from Inertia Labs

Gforce GSR 4sp dogbox trans....clutch is tilton but only used to get the car going from a stop.

Hey Eric, cool video! I had a few questions if you have a moment. What's transmission is that? Some kind of dogbox? Did you have to add a bunch of weight to meet the gltc power-to-weight rules for a LS-based car?
Trans is a GForce GSR 4sp dog box Engine was detuned to 213whp and min weight at 2862lbs
@@ericjensen9840 that's really cool! Impressive detune on it, still has great torque out of the corners.

you'll enjoy the New Zealand SIERC (south island endurance champ). A guy there runs the 1 hour sub series in a t86 with an ls 6.2, and 550 bhp.

@@ericjensen9840 That sucks. Hell of a nice machine you've put together though. Ran Lemons there in a 280Z with a 302 in it. Quickly snapped the stock pumpkin and the spare we put in afterwards and were out of the race. They just weren't made for V8 torque. Was a friggin blast though!

Gforce GSR 4sp dog The audio is from the rear cam so you don’t hear the trans. Broke an axle on the test day, so I only used 3/4 gear to limit the impact on them.
