Track-Speed.com did it once again, an excellent track day with nice atmosphere and people willing to share their passion. It was our first outing with brand new slicks, and we did only one session at the end of the day. There is a lot more between the driver and the car. Next time we will be 50kg lighter with more downforce and new tires. Speaking about tires, no they are not expensive. Modding...

By strictly following our SOPs on engine break-in, we first tested the car at our local Kastania Hillclimb course, and then spend two of the warmest days that we could book at the Serres Racing Circuit. Cooling mods worked perfectly and engine witnessed what comes ahead. Lots of consistent laps, still hesitant to stay flat on some sections but we are getting there. Next time on brand new slicks...

We brought the best guy to give the car a proper shakedown after the kswap. - The stock 282mm CRV brakes are insufficient for the K20 power. - Front caster washers needs to be redone since they disappeared. - Rear tiny wing is on its way out. - Half worn slicks are a half measure. - And last but not least, it would have been better for mk2sp to turn on the electric PS next time. How would you say the k feels compared to stock f20c??? I own an ap1 and always wondered
I've never driven an S2000 with f20c to be honest, but for sure K20 is more torquer but revs like 500rpm less. 4.4FD is the shortest that I would go.
