Hey here are some thoughts about making a podcast more attractive so, don't use that only audio introduction. That is not good at all and change your video thumbnail , use some UA-cam SEO and that's it. This steps will make your podcast more engaging and you will get more views. So if you are not able to do all this by yourself I can help you.I am not trying to make any sales , I am just marketer who have come through your podcast and saw some ways to improve. So if you want any help you can let me know by replying to this comment. I am more than willing to help you for free .
Does this book help parents of children with adhd?
This all makes total sense. I’ve been struggling with my almost 4 year old son.
Doctorate is in political science?
so invested in this video. exactly what I need right now. ✅️ ❤🙏✨️
Amazing episode ❤
Excellent interview!
Great conversation ❤.
❤❤❤ thank you so much
So basically countries who have no feminism, women's liberation movements, or girl bosses have the best family and child rearing practices. Wow, who could have guessed that.
I don't know much about about Africa, but Mexico and the north of Canada absolutely have feminism, women's liberation and girl bosses.
This was great! Thanks
Love this discussion! As a homeschool mama who wants to offer quality time and new ideas, is there such a thing as a true play based curriculum? Can you recommend one?
I Asked Kristen and she said "just play!" :) She suggested you follow @little.stories.that.stick on Instagram
@@peacefulparentingwithsarah4194 Thank you so much!!! And thank you for a very inspiring episode, definitely very impactful to me in the decision making process for the upcoming school year!
If little S is having to be carried to school crying then I can understand why she’s trying to exert autonomy on all of the rest of her life. I say this from a place of empathy, with some very very similar challenges at home.
Needing the toilet is very much a demand by our own bodies in itself, and being even prompted about going to the toilet can compound the demand. In my experience with my 6 year old, the more his life feels out of control/overwhelming in some way the more in control he needs to feel, and have more autonomy than when he’s internally really calm.
This 6 year old so similar to my 6 year old!
It's the same with my 5yr old going to lkg 😢..I even changed her school this year
I love Casey and I’m so thankful for all she has done in this field! I honestly don’t know what I would do without her!!!
Love is more practical!
I have also Audit your UA-cam Channel. I found many mistakes in your Video SEO. These mistakes are not increasing your Views Subscribers and Targeted Audience. Can I share the audit report?

❤❤❤ so happy to hear this video. I'm watching my 1 year old grandson being overcome with such BIG emotions that, at times, he just has to lay down because the feelings are too heavy to bear.
My 16 year old refuses to do school work and is failing. She is not happy. She lives with her grandparents. She has no disability
What would be a peaceful way to stop my 3 year old and 5 year old boys from barging in constantly into the homeoffice of their father. Backstory my husband is a computer programmer and he works from home. I am a stay at home Mom I am currently home with my 3 year old my 5 year old is in the preschool throughout the day but in the case of holidays or when he is sick he is at home as well and then they really like to just barge into their father office even if he is having a meeting. What I have tried is when he is having an important meeting or i had to get them out for the third time n half an hour to lock the door but that sometimes exacerbates the situation because they are screaming and banging on te door if they are not let in and their father can not hear anything from the meetings so we try to avoid this. What I also use is like i notify my 3 year old his father is working we can peak in but if he is talking with people we are not allowed to go in. It is very hard to get them out in a non coercive peaceful manner so I welcomes any ideas.
The school should change the way they teach. It is boring as hell. Make it more fun, they are still children not an adults, not a solders to follow stupid rules. Make it more fun and any kid will love going to school.
Loved this podcast, you are a gem Vivek
Thank you ♥️🙏🏽
One concern I notice she equates American or North American to euro Americans ignoring the African American population would be curious how African American child rearing fits in
the highest rates of child abuse and sexual abuse against girls in the nation. Look it up
You are awesome!!
aw thanks :)
I would add to neurodiversity, ASD and sensory integration difficulties. If that is the case then pushing the child to go into school can unfortunately lead to burnout, it’s different to anxiety where they can almost talk themselves out of it. I’m saying this as someone who deals with so many burntout teenagers whose mental health is awful and they end up unable to leave the house at all. And sadly my own child in junior school and two of his friends who are unable to go to school and we have to look at alternatives, if the support they get in school isn’t enough.
You are so right! Thanks for that. I wish I had addressed ND burnout in this episode.
Thanks for the suggestions. One question that I have with such trials by parents is that even if some of these work and we keep giving our best, the moment the kids take this behaviour to others which they mostly do - school, neighbours and public places , they aren't going to get any of these treatments. How will they deal with the real world outside parents if their behaviour is dependent on the parent's empathetic approach always?
My kids all noticed that different people interacted with them in different ways. Kids learn on their own that "the real world" is different. And if they learn at home to be treated with respect, they will learn to stand up for themselves and not be treated poorly.
One of my children loves risky play (has hurt himself a few times including needing medical care) dad has PTSD because of it. I manage to overcome it as I know it’s important. My other child is not naturally drawn to risky play he has always been more cautious (he has somato-dyspraxia) but he’s becoming braver at his own pace.
Around 23:00 I love that Amanda explains that some of our children can be missed as they express their “too hard” less obviously.
As a childcare professional, I was interested to hear what this conversation would be about, but the excessive number of commercial interruptions is just bonkers 😂
This is news to me! I am looking into it- I had no idea there are ads inside my episodes- I'm certainly not making any money off them at this point! But if they are going to put them in there without my permission I certainly should! Thanks for the heads up. For no ad interruptions, you can listen to the podcast here- link.chtbl.com/Z_YOP4jb
Wow, a commercial 5 mins in after I already listened to your commercial about your membership program… dang… way to monetize. 🤦🏻♀️
Very helpful! I'm always unsure of how to handle the blaming. Thank you.
Glad it was helpful! :)
Absolutely insightful and exactly what I needed to hear right now. Thank you both.
Our pleasure!
where are the links and the shownotes ? to the podcast mentionned in the beggining and articles or resources explaining peaceful parenthing?
Sorry they weren't easily available! Here is the link to the article about peaceful parenting- www.sarahrosensweet.com/peacefulparenting/
I have a 4 year old and I love hearing insight from older kids!
I'm so glad it was helpful! xx
So insightful..
Glad you liked it :)
I would love to know where this parent is now with the changes they tried to implement. I constantly find myself reading various experts and at times thibgs click and I feel like I am able to change my reactions significantly as well as feeling that my child's condition improves. But then things get more difficult again and it always feels like the positive changes disppear. Can never seem to make a lasting change. Pretty desperate( my child us highly emotional, I would even say volatile
I have to say my childs emotions are definitely stronger than me at this point
I"m sorry to hear that things feel so hard for you- it's totally normal to have ups and downs with a sensitive child. Part if it could also be the common issue that because things feel better you stop doing the things that made them better? Just a thought! Or it could be the normal ups and downs :) Hang in there! xx
do you have another podcast on parenting ?
This is the only one :)
I love Michaeleen and her work. Glad you did an interview with her! ❤❤❤
I'm glad you liked it! I loved talking with her :)
We are arrogant to not listen to our youth! School use to be an outlet, but the current times, they can research anything at anytime to gain information on intrest! This is the bi product of technology! Schools are way underfunded and behind technology growth, and kids are bored!!! AND MOST TEACHERS ARE UNDER THERE OWN FINANCIALLY BURDENS! HOW CAN A 4TH GRADE TEACHER COMPETE WITH VR SYSTEMS ,INTERNET, AND ANYTHING AT YOUR WANT ! AND MAKE MATH EXCITING 😢😢😢😢
AS ADULTS WE RESEARCH ANYTHING WE DONT KNOW! MOST 10 YEAR OLDS HAVE THE SAME OPTION! SCHOOLS ARE BECOMING OBSOLETE GIVING TECHNOLOGY ADVANCED
Kids have the same SMART PHONE ADULTS HAVE! You have everything at you fingertips, so do kids😢
NEGOTIATIONS WITH A 5 YEAR OLD 😢😢😢😢, HOW ABOUT IM THE PARENT WHAT I SAY GOES! IN TERMS OF EQUITY! WHAT KIDS ARE AN INVESTMENT 😢😢 TO ALL DONT EVER KEEP UP WITH THE JONES! REAL PARENTS know WHEN THEIR CHILD HAS A ACTUALLY PROBLEM!
I got so much out of this video, I'm so glad I found it. Thank you!
I'm so glad it was helpful! xx
Thanks for the presentation.
You are so welcome :)
Thank you I really enjoyed listening to this and took notes! Thanks for making this list…Very helpful reminders!❤

Fantastic advice!!!!
Glad you liked it! :)
