Bummer for the owner. That was brewing up pretty badly to the point of being a total loss even when the crew was stretching that first line. Not much that they could do it would appear. That said, once they got water on it, it looks like they had the bulk of it knocked down quickly. Good coverage.

It is totally amazing how many alleged farmers that don't seem to be able to set plows to plow properly ... There's an old saying that states " PRYOR , PROPER , PLANNING , PREVENTS , PISSPOOR , PERFORMANCE , PERIOD !!!!! PLOW ON !!!!!

I have never seen a plow competition, and am impressed to how much adjustability there is on this plow, but I hope that all the other plows don't have to compete in this division. I hope that there is an unlimited division to which this plow belongs. I know that I don't know anything about this but to see how meticulous this competitor is is amazing.

Those are next generation steel wheels, a 4020 LP my dad had traded went to the Amish,it was converted to old style lug wheels, rode like a cob 😁

It's real nice to plow ground that's been turned so so many times like you see here... but, it's a totally different story plowing virgin ground that has been in sod for decades.

I am surprised at how many steel wheeled tractors participated. That must figure heavily in the culture.

That one boy at 2:20, with the modified wheels, will get done by lunchtime! That's pretty fast plowing.

The Jeep is cool. My dad and I once plowed out a crop of potatoes with a 1968 Toyota Land Cruiser and a horse turning plow chained to the trailer hitch.

Use mule instade of horses. Easy manure spreading.
