I've watched all the videos of Mottainai on youtube, have had this game for more than 6 months on my shelf, and have yet to play it (I purchased Innovation since, and have played it countless times, as well as Red7, Impulse and Uchronia, which I picked up so easily and played a few times). I think this video made everything click, and now that (I think) I've understood, I realize there's finally not so many rules in this game... need to find someone who's going to be as obsessed with Chudyk's game to be willing to learn it.

She had lampshade work. Did she win most of clay because of that?

Hi Carl Great video! One question though. You keep talking about the metal strategy and paper focus and things like that. What does that mean? Is there a strategy article that outlines the main ways to win the game somewhere?

What pledge level is necessary to get Sasha as an add-on?

Which size reference cards did you use in this? Mini or Deluxe?

What if a person uses poor judgment and becomes offended too easily? I think a better way to go about this might be to say "Is that okay?" It takes care of the problem of being overly judgmental. It also is less likely to lead to defensiveness and is more likely to make someone think about what they are saying. Perhaps they will take it seriously and ask themselves "is that okay?".

Asmadi may be my favorite publisher making tabletop games today and it feels good knowing that they are also a swell group of people

So happy about Innovation expansions! Hopefully the mechanics of Figures in the Sand move back toward the Martyrdom mechanics that were loved with the original playtest , rather than the last minute change that came with the Decree Actions and didn't have a full chance to be playtested before release. I also hope that Cities gets a good polishing, as it seemed to have a great deal of potential but lost momentum among many of the physical testers during the playtest. Regardless, I'm interested in the Artifacts expansion and what it offers to the Innovation universe!
