      We train together during the week and roll each time. Our paths are set at 50% of maximum, emphasis on improving technique, focusing on continued movement and transitions, watching out for your partners fingers and toes getting twisted, maintaining constant movement using all our curriculum learned in each roll. That is a measure of success. And of course the submission completes the game. In the academy, it’s just an adult game, adult play time with a mind set that this can be highly effective. Must have fun and laugh laugh with passes and sweeps. When we go to competition, that’s an entirely another level of intensity, but ultimately it’s still rolling in the academy. We are still practicing the same skills

    Great! Just got mine filled and clothed! The demos look a lot easier on youtube than in my living room! Comment! I would have gotten a larger Gi the the recommended A4 for my Smarty 2.0. I would also have gotten the XL. I would say get the XL if you're over 5' foot 7.' I'm 5 foot 8 inches plus a little. Also get a larger Gi for it than they recommend.

    • @spinnexvitality
      @spinnexvitality 5 місяців тому

      i like the 2.0 and the XL would be too big for me as I am 5'10". Yes the smarty 2.0 is not to smart because he/she does not have instinctual balance and to me, super clumsy and I can not do spider guard so far. Maybe I need to adjust to smarty and I won't give up.
