My kids didn't like this book. Not one of them. The five year old fell asleep, the seven year old found it childish, the eight year old said it was stupid.

I want to start a AWA chapter in my area. I am taking my CCL coarse in 2 weeks and would love to start the process of getting certified to become a leader.

I really do think Kenzie self perceives how others preceives her or overthink ls and assume people are doing this"mansplain" type stuff. I as a guy get that stuff too. Sometimes people do simple explaining because its easier then just assuming people know what you're talkng about.

I have a Tikka T3x stainless lite 270 win with muzzle break. I mounted a Schmidt Bender fixed power 6 x42 as I shoot mostly 400 yds or less. The reticle has been rock solid for over 3 seasons. For ammo, I use Hornady Superformance SST 140 gr. It shoots very flat. I know the ballistics so when using a range finder, I can shoot with upmost confidence. 1 bullet and 1 game laid down.

Wild horse management is such a touchy subject matter. I am so happy that Mia tackled this difficult subject while speaking with various experts. Like most Americans, I LOVE horses….but just like all animals, they must be managed before they destroy the habitat for themselves and countless other wildlife. I also never knew the devastation wild horses were doing to our western lands until attending a seminar at SCI a couple years ago (I actually met Rebekah I think!)…so it was wonderful to see Mia have a podcast about this difficult subject, especially because she absolutely loves horses and, like most horse people, consider them a part of their family.

What a great podcast! Mia asked Zac some really great questions and Zac answered with honesty that I found so refreshing…and that I could TOTALLY relate to. I found myself shaking my head throughout the conversation as I have felt many of the same emotions and struggled through similar experiences. Even though I have no plans to hunt myself, I plan on getting a copy of Turning Feral so I can learn more about Zac and his experiences. Also, it is always wonderful hearing Mia’s perspective on things.

Awesome interview with Coni Brooks and the X bullet. I will ONLY use Barnes Bullets in my Thompson Omega muzzleloader. Barnes has created outstanding Copper bullets with 100% weight retention when hitting the target. And Coni.......61 out of 62 instant kill shots in Zimbabwe with the X bullet? Outstanding!

Sako/Tikka excellent rifles. I own 7 Sako & 1 Tikka rifles, they will never leave my gun safes. And yes there is room for just 1 more. 😉
