stock APFSDS with decent penetration helps a lot, mobility is also normal, but the 10+ second reload is really holding this thing back.....

Low tier is always fun to visit... This is one of the more rare vehicles to see, but it is a reserve in the Chinese tech tree. Good mobility .50cal with a competitive cannon just makes this thing great. The T-80BVM is the top tank in the Russian tech tree. With a 6.5 second reload it's a bit behind some other top tier MBTs, but it makes that up in survivability..... The top tier lineup that comes at this BR is literally the most powerful in this game. By far THE Best Tank to grind out your Swedish tree, excellent mobility, 5 second autoloader and good shells. Not much more you can ask for ;). You got plenty of easy good kills with LEO now its BR 8.0 and im having to fight tanks like T55, T55AM1, T62.....

OP only if its downtiered, competence countries at same BR has APDSFS with stabilizer and better armour.
What are you even talking about, the only tank i can think of with a stabiliser, apfsds, and better armour would be the type 69, which greatly lacks manoeuvrability compared to the Leo.
Leo 1 is pretty garbage at 8.0. It should probably be 7.7. Tiger II (H) should be 6.3 and Tiger II (P) should be 6.0.
The leopard 1 is still excellent at 8.0, and going by the rest of your comment, i dont think it’s the leopard that’s “garbage” lol.

Sadly my first nation and as i want to get to top tier i have to play this... well it was good, dunno what gaijin thought when putting it to 8.0, if they added like a modification called "Leopard 1A2" where you can get a stab and the gadgets the 1A2 had, it would be ok.
For real though, I spent like 3 months completing my 7.3 lineup only for everything to be moved to 7.7 and the leopard to 8.0 only a few days after getting everything. Haven't played the game since which has honestly been a blessing.

Better honestly, better horsepower, filled with fuel tanks to act as "sekrit" armor ;), slightly weirdly angled armor to Gaijin some shots and it has a 14.5 mm on the top of the gun for pesky light tanks/helicopters.
It pretty much replaces the T 62 in most situations
better, smaller, better armor, and fuel tanks all around
