That 455 would've started up a whole lot fuckin' quicker if you hadn't flooded it with gas and solvent, and probably fucked a rod up holding that crank. Those things are bulletproof. Hosing down the engine bay is probably what fucked up the distro to begin with. This car would've been able to get started within about 30 mins, if you actually knew what you were doing. It looked worse than it actually was, even before tripping over your own dick trying to hammer away at it. And because of the trans layout - you probably fucked that up too, trying to pull start it. In two days, you probably did more damage to this than 45 years of sitting under a mountain of someone's shit. GG, boss.
