Still sounding good brilliant 60s mod band band like the creations is the sixties will always be the best end of
Движение Модов)
Psychedelic dreams of mods.
Bit late to the party, but better late than never, agree with everyone should have been bigger, great sound great catchy songs.iam sure I heard they supported the who around that time. Love and peace x
Massively underrated band!
just to hear Bob Garner sing is magic
Sadly their recordings were not consistently of high quality. Half of it was great though. They lacked good management that sat on their tails , and forced quality control on them .
Ken Pickett was my dad. I miss him every day
What was kenny like as a person
@@celine9322 he was very charismatic and he loved my mum and me. He had a good sense of humour.
He seems quite charismatic and fun 🙂 And kind of relatable to me aswell. It’s so sad that he died so young ☹️ 💕
@@celine9322 well he was my dad and it was one of the most terrible painful things I had to endure. I was only 22 when I lost him. I miss him more than anyone
❤️💕☹️
This footage is priceless. I take it its from before Ronnie Wood joined them...

Lyrics: Can I join your band, go on parade? With my new guitar, my coat is suede. Can I join your band? I'm a hippie guy Always stoned and eight miles high. My daddy was a soldier, Played the fife and drums Left mummy and the children starving in the slums Pinched our granddad's savings, bought a new guitar Set off to join a brass band, to someday be a star (Repeat chorus) There's a vacant situation, we'll accept your application Learn to march and to play. Ready for your special day? Can I join your band? Can I join your band? With drums drumming, flags flying, they played the jubilee The only drag about it was, they didn't take me. Feet achin', heart breakin' , watched them outta sight. Then 'round the corner, came the guards Me old man could be right. (Repeat chorus)
Can I join your band, go on PARADE.
@@steveburton9242 Thanks! Edited
Superb footage! These guys should have been BIG! They had it all - in house writing, killer tunes, innovation (they were the first band to use a violin bow for an electric guitar).
I was at this gig with Eddie and Ruth. I am proud to call him and Ruth good friends. I was on crutches at the time and leaning against the front of the stage during the show. During the solo in "Power Surge" he used one of my crutches instead of his violin bow on the guitar. In the film you can see this clearly. He is still using that same guitar now. One of the best players ever!
"i'm a hippie guy, always stoned 8 miles high" can i join your band?
Red with purple flashes. The music of the Creation was original, inspired and inventive.
They had such a great output of terrific records. One of the few bands I can listen to over and over again.
What brilliant footage of an amazing band, well done
Terrific find. Never sure why they didn't make it really big.On the playlist of both Radio Caroline and City but crucially not Big L or BBC .
Not my favorite line up of the band, but still awesome! RIP Bob Garner :(
Great clip of the Creation - wish there was more! Rarity.
Who was Ken White???
Quite an incredible find of footage of a band that deserved more recognition. Thanks for posting!
Thank God this was filmed- phenemonal! Eddie gets a fantastic sound from his Strat!
Jesus I was at this gig in 1995 with my friend who is dead now
RIP Bob Garner,....and thank you for the music.
Very rare to have footage of the band, shame really. The most underrated band from the 60's in my opinion. Great music though, at least they left us that!
The Banana Splits?
Banana splifs more like...
I love it!
Where on earth did you get all the "Creation" footage? saw them support the Who when I was 14 and decided there and then to become a guitarist!
psychadelic era videos (running;and falling in grass)
It seems like every British band from The Troggs to Black Sabbath would just shoot a music video of the band goofing off in Hyde Park back in those days.
Psychedelic underground music.
8.12, wankers hahaha.
Recognise yourself?
Arnold Lane!
I hate Strats...but his is Ok...............................okish...it certainly sound ACE in his hands...better than 1 000 000 strats or strat player
Amazing!
Valeu Ken por ter se preocupado em registrar imagens dessa fabulosa banda. Pois foram muito importantes para mim em minha juventude & confesso que jamais imaginei que existissem ...
ME , TOO , THO' i HAVE'NT SEEN HIM IN ALMOST 10 YEARS. He may not remember me , well.....BUT , HE'S A REAL ACE CAT. SO PLEASANT. Someone like that , you don't forget.
